Echocut: I already got the quest cape since ~2006 but I didn't keep up with the recent quests (253 qps atm) but after this I'll probably go do the little bits like completing all quests/getting all tracks/songs and so on

I was really enjoying reading through all your amazing levels, and then I got to the end :(. So i'll post here and say congratulations with your achievements this far and good luck with your goals to come.

You've done insanely, insanely, freaking insanely well to get this far. BUT there is still a couple of problematic skills (namely slayer and runecrafting that will consume you. I suggest getting these levels up, but gradually, and interspersing them with other skills (say, getting slayer up to 80 then getting 99 craft, then getting it to 90 and getting 99 herby, and the same with the rc.) I imagine there'd be nothing worse than looking at your stat screen and seeing the last skill you need before all 99's is something slow, slow, incredibly sloooow and boring like runecrafting.

 

 

 

Well, I guess you did that with the farming, and we all know how that turned out. :mrgreen:

 

 

 

Oh, and by the way, what do you do with all of the money you gain from these skills (e.g. all of the red chins you got from 99 hunter) Do these all just sit in your bank, or do you actively use them to 'buy' other skills. Or do you try to make MORE money by using an economical and cost effective method for all of your skills?

SirBrandon39: I invest parts of the gp in economic ways of getting exp (like making air battlestaves, or buying x item when it's at a very low price in large ammounts) and I also bought a red haloween mask because I'm obsesed with things that can never be done again (discontinued item/can never be found again) and it's the best looking helm in my oppinion, and the rest of the gp sit in the bank

To my surprise, even when power leveling thieving it can be profitable, this is EVERYTHING that I got from pyramid plunder (64-99), the only supply I used was the food that isn't worth more than 0.1-1m gp (cod), and I used a lot of the stone seals to charge my sceptre because I was farming:

 

3 Ivory comb - 150 gp

 

34 pottery scarab - 2.550 gp

 

482 pottery statuette - 48.200 gp

 

3128 stone seal - 470.250 gp

 

8323 stone scarab - 1.463.700 gp

 

7499 stone statuette - 1.507.000 gp

 

3685 gold seal - 2.775.750 gp

 

2122 golden scarab - 2.130.000 gp

 

722 golden statuette - 907.500 gp

 

11 pharaoh sceptre - ~4.400.000 gp (roughly 400k each)

 

Total of: 13.705.100 gp

 

I got around 10k exp each 5 minutes at 91-99 thieving (each trip is 5 minutes, it only takes a few insignificant seconds to bank)

 

 

 

Now I'll start getting 20m exp in some skills till I get some steel bars to start going for 99 smith

I won't post empty handed, so besides the 20m agility, thieving and cooking exp (didn't take any pic) I alched 100m+ worth of staves (now I have over 120m raw gp)

 

Next 99 is probably herblore

 

But I can't really focus on 99s because I got final school exams/12 grade stuff

 

Also, updating my sig (I have to manualy do it...)

 

great blog. surprised your rc level hasn't moved in almost a year 'o.O I figured, as 99 mining is harder to bear than 99 tc in the fact you make no money in the process, you'd have a higher level...
