Kinda easy to camp Bowser though. His jump doesn't go very far, he doesn't have a reflector or anything, he can't cancel out most projectiles, and he's a big target.

 

 

 

Exactly. Bowser has to fight a no-projectile tier to have the slightest chance of winning.

You can use the c stick to move the laser slightly. It's fun to learn to use

Well ok... but that doesn't really help keep luigi away...

For Rob, press B. Count a few seconds (2-3?). Shoot again. You don't have to shoot it every half a second for it to be spammable.

 

 

 

Bowser has the best shield AND the on of the (if not the) best OOS game. This means that he can pshield and walk to them, or mix it up. He can deal somewhat with projectiles, and bowser doesn't have have nearly a hard time with them as you make it sound. He also has good reach, and his approach isn't too bad.

The only things Link has over TL is D air, tether recovery, on stage up b and gale boomerang techs. Maybe bomb too because you can SHB downwards and not get hurt like you do with TL and it does more damage, but TL has a larger range.

 

 

 

Pichu sucked hardest in Melee

 

Mewtwo sucked more because it took huge amount of skill to play him competitively and even then he was barely up for the top tier challenge.

You're forgetting the 2 BIGGEST things that Link has that TL doesn't. A better Zair and longer reach on every attack. If it wasn't for Link's recovery, he would be around (better/worse? IDK) than TL.

Z airs are forgetful.

Yes he is, coming from an ex-Link main (when I didnt like speedy chars). He's slow though, and has no chaingrabs, his grab itself is laggy and sometimes predictible, where TL's grab may not go as long it's usually a bit quicker and is more effected by running (I think..)

 

TL has stringing back airs into bomb (quickdrop and grab) into d air [bleep]e for semi-pros. Link is a full pro character, it takes alot of skill to use him and not that many people will bother with him.

 

IF his recovery was nerfed he'd still be too slow and too technical for any random persons use against another character (another technical person is Snake but everyone knows Link is by far the most technical character in brawl) which makes him, in a way unique.

 

 

 

Bad recovery and less than average speed clock him near the bottom. If recovery was better then yeah he'd be up but he's still too slow and too hard for someone to use competitively without rigurous training :XD:

Iv'e just given up on R.O.B completely, Bad learned how to DI the down smash, cancel the gyro, and well the laser just plain fails...

 

But ganon has nice combo grabs on DK, despite having the suckiest grab range ever,just down throw them to the edge and [bleep]e.

Lol I have brawl plus but i never payed much attention to marth when i had melee, i was just happy ganon wasn't lowest tier

He's not that slow. He has a nice, fast, long reacher grab that can be canceled, the zair, bair, and nair. Chaingrabs aren't needed to be good, and TL and Link's grab both suck hard, and shouldn't be used to dash grab. Only to punish.

Link is a full pro character, it takes alot of skill to use him and not that many people will bother with him. He's up there. But it takes a lot of skill to play Snake as well. (he's so good that most people don't recognize playing at high level is hard)

I would say Snake is more technical. Link is just worse. He has much more technical options, while Link has... his gale boomerang. That's really the only technical setup he has.

On the stage, he has everything that most middle-high has. Real quick medium range game, great projectiles, great spacing tools, QUICK (yes quick) KO attacks that are easy to hit (dsmash) and one of the longest reaches in the game, while not as slow (as Ike and the like)

 

This is why I think from playing him.

Skinny, check if Ike's up throw chaingrabs if you predict their DI. I'm 90% sure it doesn't, because that would be too much hitlag.

I'ma check up on link before we take this any further but Snake only has mindgames, grenades, explosives and a great dacus..

 

 

 

And I tried Ikes thing cause I was bored and you can grab them in normal brawl so I highly doubt they made his grabs WORSE in brawl +

What? You can't chaingrab with Ike's throw in vBrawl. :lol:
