June 9, 200818 yr Hello, Well, I'm in need of money and am gonna try my luck with level 2 and 3 clue scrolls. I can get 3's from Green Drags. But where can I get level 2's? I've heard that Cockatrices are good. If these are good, what is the best inventory and outfit? I know I need a mirror shield. Here are my stats: Attack: 69(almost 70) Defence: 66 Strength: 67 Hp: 68 Prayer: 47 Range: 56(probably useless, thought I'd post it incase) Current Outfit: Helm: Dragon Med Neck: Body: Granite Plate Weapon: D Long but will use Whip when and if I get it Shield: Mirror Shield(duh) Gloves: Combat Bracelet (replace with vambs or rune gaunts?) Boots: Rune or Climbing Ring: ROW Also, what should I pick up and whats a good but cheap inventory? June 9, 200818 yr a hint: if you go to the treasure trail page of tipit, you find a list of clue-droppers now check a few monsters on that list in the bestiary; if you like their droplist and you think you can kill them easily, go for it (then you have steady drops and from time to time an extra from clues) another hint: just train slay: gives acces to better monsters among which are also some cluedroppers.

June 9, 200818 yr jellies have been seriously nerfed with the new slayer update. before i would get one within 30 kills. Now me and my friend have been camping there for the past 6 hours (3 today and 3 yesterday) and still no sign of a clue. I don't think thats horrible luck either... June 9, 200818 yr The little dagannoths I know drop level two clues. Guards are either level one or two, I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure two. They would be pretty easy to kill. I would check the bestiary for more. They're all listed. :)
June 9, 200818 yr For lvl 2's: Pyrefiends, cockatrice, harpie swarms. Harpie swarms will probably get you them fastest. All i've been doing for a fortnight, trust me these are the best ;)

June 9, 200818 yr I get all my clues from pyrefiends, and you could get a bucketload of fire runes along the way.
June 9, 200818 yr I suggest training slayer first. After that, you can try Harpie Bug Swarms for insanely fast clues. They're killed super fast, and drop level 2s. For level 3s, try ankou, Jellies, Turoths, and green dragons.
