inoskedv2
1. Can you pot to get 69 smithing for the quest? 2. Is there any ways to boost smithing more than 2 levels with the Dwarven stout and another method? 3. What's a good way to train smithing at level 63, that won't break the bank, besides mining gold ore? 4. New forums are nice but old account can't get a new password

Er, if bolts are 100 gp each and bars are 1.2k, I'm pretty sure you lose money on that last part. metugo1
you can't pot and buying mith and coal ore in blast furnace can get you 60 smithing in 1-2 days, blast furnace only uses half as mush as coal Quest cape achieved in February 5, 2008

Inuashakent
Evil stew can raise your smithing by 6 or 7 I think... but don't count on it, it's quite annoying. Try it for 4 or 5, but any more than that takes too much time and is way too much of a hassle. Kinemas
You can buy iron ore and rings of forging and smelt iron bars. You are bound to make profit, because 1 ore is like 90-100 gp. And 1 bar is around 200 gp. And when buying in a large quantity, the costs of rings of forging is neglectable. They can provide you with 140 guaranteed smelts. 0rangebunny
Er, if bolts are 100 gp each and bars are 1.2k, I'm pretty sure you lose money on that last part. 1. The ores are cheaper than the bars. 2. The blast furnace requires half the coal as normal furnaces. 3. You make multiple bolts per bar. I would reccomend blast furnace mithril bolts, fast and profitable. F2P miner for life. No you need the requirements to start the quest, much like needing 85 combat to start the last one. 2. Stews would work but as you can't pot it's pretty pointless. 3. Make steel bars, make iron bars with rof, make cannonballs, make mith bolts, make mith bars at blast furnace. All will operate at a profit or minimal loss. Trust the Gene Genie!
