Crimsons per hour

Featured Replies

About how many crimsons per hour can you get at dusties in CT? I'd be meleeing them.

Also:

1) Should I dharok them? Or just go regular melee gear?

.neitiznot helm, guthan body, dharok legs, dragon boots, barrows gloves, legends cape, glory, row, obby shield, and whip.

2) Are dusties the best for me at my level? (I'm not bursting lobs or killing fiends)

Might help if you post your stats. I would kill Waterfiends if I were you though. 87 banked. \'

Can't dharok Dusties even in the chaos tunnels.

Crap, I keep forgetting I don't have my stat sig lol.

ATK: 75 (close to 76)

STR: 74 (close to 75)

DEF: 76 (close to 77)

HP: 76

PRAY: 56

MAGE: 73

RANGE: 68

SUMMONING: 46

And, you can't even in the CT? Well good to know that! Lol, so you're saying 30 crims an hour? Also, Kent, I would kill waterfiends, except I'm such a low level.

Yeah. You tend to get a lot of golds there too.

I was plannin on saving my golds for terrorbirds to use for my benefit, not training.

replace the neitz with facemask/slayerhelmet

(would be slow kills with all your stats lowered)

And green. It's like 20% green, gold, and 40% crimsons. Just a guess though, 0% tested lol. You CAN waterfiend at that level, just not efficiently.

Lol I actually don't pick up greens because they're a waste of money imo, I'd rather hunt for those extra charms then spend money I don't have lol. So dusties are better for me?

Hmm, if you're fighting purely for charms and not for combat xp, you may want to try Black Demons. About 70% crimson drop rate and 85% charm drop rate last time I was there.

And, just pick up the greens. You can use them to make bunyips and ibises if you ever need them. Picking up won't hurt, you can always let them sit in your bank.

^ Good advice, don't forget it ;) .

Yep, I put the neitiznot there since I was unaware you needed a facemask in CT. And that is true, I suppose bunyips would be pretty helpful, I totally spaced out they used green...wow I'm a bonehead ton...this morning lol. Can I kill black demons effectively?

Hmm, you have only slightly lower stats than I do, and whenever I killed them as my slayer task I didn't feel like I was wasting my time not hitting them. I guess it would be ~40k xp/hour.

Keep in mind that was with a black mask, so I guess you shouldn't go there for combat xp.

40k xp/hour is 70 demons, just over a minute to kill each. That should get you about 45-50 crimson charms.

I'm not really lookin for combat xp, just trying to get crimsons rather fast so I can get 70 summoning.

EDIT: Do you think I'd have enough charms for 70 summoning once I hit 65 slayer? I need about 2500 crimsons from my level to get to 70, I need like...240 some k xp to 65.
