June 25, 200818 yr is there any possible way to improve my video card? because since i had this computer, it has degraded( i do not know how),and many of the emotes are really hard to see such as skill cape emotes. ty -shooterbob7
June 25, 200818 yr  wth? Well, you can change your video card but i doubt that's the problem. Can you explain the problem more detailed?
June 25, 200818 yr Overclocking. There are many guides out there for you to do overclocking in a safe way. Remember that the video card is not coverd by the warranty if you should damage your card while overclocking. But i dunno if it's gonna do you any good. Can you take a picture and upload how a "failed emote" looks like? J'adore aussi le sexe et les snuff moviesJe trouve que ce sont des purs moments de vieJe ne me reconnais plus dans les gensJe suis juste un cas désespérantEt comme personne ne viendra me réclamerJe terminerai comme un objet retrouvé
June 25, 200818 yr Considering that runescape doesn't even use your video card right now (IIRC update isn't out yet? I have no clue) I assume it is something else. Take a picture and tell us what you mean. Maybe your monitor is a bit screwy or something.
June 25, 200818 yr If it's monitor, we won't see any problem :| And what do you mean runescape doesn't use video card? You think it creates the graphics with ram? or cd-rom maybe?
June 25, 200818 yr If it's monitor, we won't see any problem :| Well yeah, and that'd be an easy way to tell if it isn't the monitor. And what do you mean runescape doesn't use video card? You think it creates the graphics with ram? or cd-rom maybe? I don't think I was clear enough. I highly doubt that a video card issue is causing this as no matter what video card you have runescape will run the same. A decent example is when I had my old 6600GT it was overheating. I'm talking about like 90C or some [cabbage], getting really hot. In games such as Lineage II that took advantage of a video card it would produce artifacts all over the screen, but obviously it didn't do that in any small program like a little java app or anything. Obviously your monitor is going through your video card but that doesn't mean that it's actually having a big active role in the game.
June 25, 200818 yr Video cards do not "degrade" they either work, or they don't. The issue is probably with your monitor. Currently Runescape uses basic graphics and therefore you don't need a specialized video card for it to work. Don't overclock, if your video card is onboard you could screw up the whole motherboard. Trust the Gene Genie!
June 25, 200818 yr Update driver(s). Update your latest version of Java. Update any fixes you have with the browser your using to play. And to follow along with Nadril, hook up another Monitor to the computer, and post the outcome. As well, do any other games on different platforms react in the same way? Flash, other Java games, any client games? As well, may want to try using different browsers to play the game. All things you need to do.
June 26, 200818 yr Author ya never mind, its probably lag. I have vista so it gives an overall score to your computer based on the video card and other things that affect graphics, and when it gives me the grade, the overall score goes down.
