Princess Viola
Hunting the Man ----------------- Skills Req: None Items Req: None Quests Req: None Hunting the Man is a quest in which you capture a NPC for a cash reward. It is a very easy quest. Starting the Quest ------------------- To start the quest, talk to Yzant, who is found near the mining pit near the Champion's Guild. He will tell you that a man named Ian owes him alot of money. (500,000,000 gp) and he's owed it for 10 years and he has added interest, so Ian actually owes 1,000,000,000 gp! Yzant then tells you to talk to Aubury, who knows Ian due to the fact that Ian was his #1 customer for the first five years of the shops existence. Conversation with Aubury ------------------------- When you ask Aubury about Ian, he seems surprised you mentioned Ian, he hasn't seen him in 3 years! Aubury then tells you he last saw Ian checking in to the Blue Moon Inn and you should ask there. The Blue Moon Inn ------------------- When you go to the inn, talk to the bartender about Ian, he will tell you that Ian did check in 3 years ago and when he checked out, he said he's going to be living in a cave for the next 50 years. The entrance to the cave is right next to the Air Altar. The Cave ----------- Upon finding the hole for the cave, click on it. You will go into the cave and a cutscene will happen with you finding Ian trying to eat his left arm. (He already ate his right arm) You tell him to come with you, he reluctantly agrees. You and Ian go visit Yzant. Return to Yzant ----------------- Upon returning to Yzant, Ian tells him that he put all 5,000,000,000 gp he has in a safe in the Varrock West Bank. However, he can't remember the code, he is sure it's one of the following three: 81-16-05, 14-27-99, or 34-67-54. (The code is 14-27-99) and he needs you to guess it. Upon opening the safe, Yzant gets the 1,000,000,000 gp Ian owed him and to thank you, he gives you some money for your troubles. Quest Rewards ---------------- 10,000 gp Access to the Bounty Hunting skill 500 experience in the Bounty Hunting skill (Bounty Hunting skill will be seperate topic)
Dax
75k for doing that? Waaaay too much! And you need to expand more on "Bounty Hunting", I guess its like Slayer, only people and money. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
BloodArgon
You just threw in the bounty hunting out of no where. Thats like a skill that you get exp by doing quests, since you have to run all over creation to find them. Stupid, no support. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th

magicmagicy
No need for a new skill called bounty hunting. And i think Jagex can make their own quests, they have professionals who make up lame storylines.

sibmaster
Every one agrees with every one this has no chance. lock please No-one can ask for a thread to be locked unless it's the owner of the thread, you can't just order the mods about and get them to lock any thread at your free will just because people don't agree with the idea. It's the owners job to get the argument across and try to persuade people not to be against it. Now it's not the best topic out there, but each idea has a reason for it, obvioously this one wasn't clearly listed, which was a new skill. I think you need to expand on your ideas a bit more, but good luck, it sounds good, just lower the reward of gold A LOT. lol, maybe to about 5 - 10k maybe. Theoknight2
I dont think Bounty Hunting should be a new skill, just a Minigame :-# wait! it already is! I think you should be able to talk to an NPC at BH to get a bounty, you can talk to people related to them to get clues, much like Treasure Trails, and once you kill em, you will get random items, again much like Treasure Trails. Only you can't use any of these items yet. Talk to the NPC again to either turn your whole reward into cash ( which he'll take 10% of it), or You can keep the items, and give him one that is 10% of the total value or more. ddaanniiellh
The general idea of the quest is ok...for a beginner. However, I don't agree that there should be a bounty hunting skill. Unless NPCs are able to wander all around RuneScape like Revanents(sp?) do the Wilderness, it would just become like another mini-game such as Gnome Restaurant, where the list of people you would have to find are limited and always in the exact same places. I like the quest, but not the bounty hunting ~Dan : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube!

JordanGM
We don't need another crappy skill or quest.
sephiroth_king
This wouldn't work. There's gotta be some sorta skill requirement. Or, you could make this into an assassin's skill suggestion, although it's been suggested and JaGex rejected it saying it's too dark for RS, it's just a suggestion. But ya, sorry, wouldn't work...Reward is too big, etc. Bounty Hunting sounds boring compared to assassin. And while this is a quest/skill topic, the quest is too easy foe a skill quest. And IO mean too easy. Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)
