Well, i just got it and i restarted my range goal again, But..... i also just found out it gives next to no range bonuses. Is 6-7 range lvls greater than 90+ range attack bonus? I can' tell the difference >.>

i'm not to sure but void is proberly a tiny bit better because you can hit harder i think?

 

 

 

I think it just improves accuracy a little bit.

With my range boosting gear, i can get around 105-115 range accuracy bonus, which is more than enough accuracy for monsters like hellhounds, fire giants, yaks etc. it puts the unnecessary accuracy into damage bonus

The tip.it database just says it increases range by 10%...And no, i don't do more damage, still max hit of 9 lawl. (bronze knives on yaks) And also, i think i hit less frequently... :wall:

 

 

 

I'm hitting 2s and 3s which i didn't before :oops:

The extra range bonus achieved trough d'hide is more important than the 10% bost to damage and acuracy given by void. Even on monster with a low defence level acuracy is still important. Many people favor the 10% damage bost given by void because you can easily see the afects of higher hiting while you might not notice the higher acuracy of your hits, yet it is still has more of an affect.

Why does everyone keep saying it increases accuracy and damage when it doesn't say that on the database. For some reason, i trust the tip.it crew.

If you have a higher range level, you get higher and more accurate hits.

I believe it adds 10% to your range level?

 

 

 

For instance, at 90 range, it's like you have 99 permanently whilst wearing it. Which means more accuracy, and higher hits.

 

 

 

But it's only useful on monsters where attack bonus doesn't matter as much. Semi low def monsters and such. Of course, when you're a higher ranged level, there's almost nothing with defense too high for it to be worth it. Void range ftw.

Void increases your max hit, and accuracy too (I think :o)
