July 16, 200818 yr I am currently working on getting 99 firemaking, and need something like 140k willows to get it. 140k willows is a lot to burn, so I'm wondering if anyone knows something I could do to not die of boredom!

July 16, 200818 yr Don't use willows! Burn maples, it saves you alot of time and is worth the money. And don't FM straight to 99. Do other things during this time so you don't get bored of it. Don't FM at the same place and don't FM the same way. Try different methods of burning logs. If you progress in your way of burning you can get very good exp/hour rates. And you can watch videos or TV or try teamspeak - lots of fun. [404] Signature not found.

July 16, 200818 yr I'm going for 99 fm currently too. Maples are the way to go, if you're clever with your MTK you can get maples cheap/free. If not, they are cheap anyway. Trick is not to do too much as they are boring as anything. I worked it out at approx 140-150k per hour. So at 2 hours a night it's roughly 25 days from 90-99. I am struggling to beat the boredom for this but it isn't that bad. Listen to spoken word things and not music. If you are listening rather than hearing just background noise it goes by far quicker. I like comedy podcasts and CD's but audio books would suffice. May even be able to teach yourself Spanish! Trust the Gene Genie!
July 16, 200818 yr Correct me if I'm wrong, but in't the lumbridge general store the hands down cheapest way to level firemaking? You start in lumbridge f2p general store with tinderbox and 100k gold. You buy all the logs ( forget which ones, maybe willow ) that the hungry f2p woodchoppers are selling there for fast levels and burn away down the path and repeat. Does this still exist? Or is it dead? Proper Daily blogging including Starcraft 2! Includes goal for 80+ all stats

July 16, 200818 yr method is dead due to infinity stock. Isn't it dead because of the updates with GE? Now items in stores have to be bought at GE prices, so you can't buy items for cheap anymore.
