Fairness
Mining it is for me. Coal beats yews, and runite beats anything else on F2p. You're being watched.

Those 60 levels really go fast. 5 hours, maybe 6. Slayer is quite a great moneymaker after 83.
Danno385
those 60 levels are easy if you are a member and have maples at 45. those make it go way faster. In fact, I do have some pancake mix.
jsboutin2
those 60 levels are easy if you are a member and have maples at 45. those make it go way faster. Lol...now, read a little. Yes, maples give more xp BUT they are longer to cut...Why do you think the best training in p2p (in which you keep the logs) is Barbarian Assault willows? Because willows cut very fast, giving much more xp/hour. Go read some guides, learn about the game, then argue. I don't go and tell someone they aren't right in a slayer guide, but I will in a fletching guide.

I don't go and tell someone they aren't right in a slayer guide, but I will in a fletching guide. Absolutely correct. The only reason to train on maples is for a little bit of extra cash, and to be honest, that's right down the toilet now as well, with them sitting at sixty each or lower currently. Willows are so much faster exp that nobody even bothers with maples any more unless they're misinformed and misguided. That said, even at level sixty, yews are horrifyingly slow money. For some people, sure it's okay, but there are such better ways to do it. Slayer and/or Runecrafting both give better cash at lower levels - hell, Slayer can be profitable from level one, what with herbs, seeds, and the occasional fire giants task or something of the sort. Runecrafting may be hard to train, but I'd still call it easier to hit 44 Runecrafting than 60 Woodcutting, and Runecrafting at around 50 is as profitable as Woodcutting in its nineties. It's fair easy to make 500K+ per hour Runecrafting at level 50, especially if you've got a spirit graahk to help it along. You can blow through the essence like you'll never do for yew logs, and they're as good money. Being immature is a part of being mature.
armourdilo
mining gold? sheesh, why didn't anyone tell me this earlier? *points to sig* #-o IMO, mining rune (despite being a total pain) and I have been able to rake in some good money with iron, better than coal any day. It's what I do
Shivneil29
Well still my point is made. It is way easier to get to that 60. Stop complaining. I got 99 wc on the lone Edgeville willow when i was f2p. Barb Assault isn't much faster, you just have to wait for a 6 second respawn on the Edgeville willow... P2P 1. Monster Hunting: GWD and Dk's are incredible money, and also are very fun. I love experimenting with different inventories, and the feeling and environment of killing a monster which can kill you in 1-3 hits. 2. Runecrafting After 44+ it really takes off and becomes a really good source of money. 3. Farming, I can make 1-1.5m off this daily. F2p 1. Yews, especially with 99 wc :P 2. Gold Ore, good profit. 3. Nothing else. 99 Woodcutting Achieved on 17th December 2007Barrows Drops: 1 x Great Axe; 3 x Brassard; 1 x K Coif; 1x Dh Helm; 2 x Guthans Plate; 1 x Ahrim Hood; 1 x Ahrim Skirt; 2 x Flail; 1 x X-bow; 2 x Dharok Legs. jsboutin2
Well still my point is made. It is way easier to get to that 60. What the heck???I just said willows where the fastest training method, just go to draynor instead of BA and you can cut willows. It might be 15 minutes faster overall to get to 60 in members. I got 60 in f2p. In the same day, I went from 12 to 61. Quite fast, no? I would say WC is faster to get to 60 then mining is to get to 40. Oh...And at 40, mining gold will be darn slow. And remember, moneymaking isn't that important for a skill... And members don't have it 3 times easier...
Danno385
Have you taken the time to read the title? You should considering how long you are on in a day 12-60 lol how long do spend on the computer a day? Plus the draynor willows have at least 1 per tree at all times. Sorry, but I raised my WC to 78 there, so I have some experience of this place.
Danno385
once you are level 60 it doesn't matter about the other people because its like a level 90 killing rats for with noobs there. The 90 gets all of the exp. And btw I spent 5 hours only once in my intier life on the computer in one day. Although it was 7. once you do 5 might as well do 7. In fact, I do have some pancake mix. I darely suggest you to actually get some woodcutting xp before arguing over it... level 53...You have spent less then 3 hours at the willows I see... And I often do more then 5 hours on a computer...It's just that I have some schoolwork to do on it.
