Featured Replies

What would the fastest way to to train fishing on f2p be? Lobs at Karmaja or Swordies using Swordfish gloves?

Thanks

"wat if u could ride giraffes"

this depends. training ur xp or making a profit with it.

the fastest way to gain levels is by fly fishing and dropping.

profitable is to do lobbs but its slow in f2p...

I want to make a little profit so i bank the lobs or swords, makes it more worthwhile as i dont just want to power fish.

Then fly fish at barb village, cook em at the fire in the hut, then bank at edgeville.

no, fish a full inv., then bank, repeat for however long you want. Then you can either

1) sell on GE

2) cook for exp/food.

The fastest way to train fishing in F2P is Fly-Fishing, and then dropping your fish. But for your two suggested, slower, ways would probably be lobsters.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Fish and Drop at Barbarian Village.

Fly fishing and dropping is definitely the fastest.

If you are seeking profit though, if you decide to fish Karamja, make sure you have the explorer's ring (3rd one) so that instead of paying both ways you only need to pay once, fish, teleport to the cabbage patch north of Port Sarim and walk to Draynor. Likewise heading back just use the teleport after you bank, walk to Port Sarim, pay, fish, repeat. :P

It does not matter where you Fly-Fish in RuneScape if you are going to drop your fish. It is all the same then.

You're suggesting that lobster or swordfish fishing would be less boring?

Just stick to the fly fishing.

I used to fly fish in lumbridge, then I went to the general store where I cooked my fishes on the fire there. Then I sold them to the general store

With the lumbrigde update, the fire disappeard :(

If you want any fast exp at all, either go to lumbridge fly-fish and sell fish to general store there OR you can barbarian fish and drop them. (Barbarian is faster). BTW in my experience fishing lobbies and harpooning in f2p never ends up in good exp or good money. :shame:

Fishing is not a good idea on f2p. Both woodcutting and mining give better income.
