IeatWindex
Well I need some money (Who doesn't?) and I have 2 questions: 1. At 72 woodcutting, could I cut yews at a decent pace? 2. What yew location is closest to a bank? I was thinking Gnome Stronghold, but is it crowded?
sweetvictory
72 is ok if you don't have a lot of competition. As for spots im not sure i never wc in p2p i only train wc in f2p... this is gonna take a while....
Fekambard
Are the Yews under the flax field closer? Theres like 6-7 Yew Trees there and a small walk away from catherby bank.
sweetvictory
that spot's always crowded whenever i go there, but there might b enough trees to support all the wc'ers on a decent world this is gonna take a while....
Seraphyna
If you don't have to share a tree, 72 will be slow, but manageable. I'd still recommend at least 75 wc if not 80 before seriously wcing yews. If you do have to share, well, it'll take a lot longer. I'm partial to the yews at the gnome stronghold. They're usually not too crowded and right next to a bank. mervinator_9
Ye im currently getting 25k (-.-) at gnome stronghold I like it as you got 3 close to the bank but if there busy 4 just south of the agility course so even if its busy you dont nessecary have to swap worlds (not that it ever really is i got 4 trees ot my self atm  ) Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs. kgisme
I use the gnome stronghold for yews too. It usually isn't too crowded. There are 3 trees very close to the bank and I have a yew tree planted in the farming patch there which gives me my own private 4th tree.
eazy187
try Edgeville north of bank theres two yew trees never seen the stronghold yew area maybe its better?
mitochondrion
I've always cut my yews at Fally. It's miles faster than the ones below the flax field. I've never given Gnomey a try, though.
Zaaps1
The Gnome Stronghold is fairly empty. But the BEST place for yews is Lleyta. There's a grove of 5-6 of them right outside the Tyras Camp. Simply Charter Ship there, and it's fastest with Catherby Teleport (Lunars). Sure banking may take awhile, but there's NEVER anyone there. It's up to you if it's worth it. Personally I'd go to the Gnome Stronghold, then switch to Lleyta during Peak hours. ~It's Super Effective! Callahan
I usually cut yews at Melzar's maze and teleport bank in Falador. Even though it may be far from a bank, there are not many people using the tree patch, although don't be surprised to see someone in the mid-upper 90s hanging around there.

You would be better to do the yews just South of Falador then those ones. Times might have changed, but when I used to cut down at Rimmington, I would always see at least 4 players cutting Yews there.... I haven't tried it, but in my head is seems like a good idea. Dr Locust <-- Click for my blog...+2000 Total, PhD in Questing, Woodcutting, Agility, Thieving, and Firemaking

Arandar is that rocky passage to Isfadar. The Yews I'm talking about are right outside the Tyras Camp, around where the spot for the Roving Elves are (one of the three, at least). ~It's Super Effective!
