Black Demons and Slayer

I just got a task of 171 Black Demons, awesome right?

 

 

 

Well, I'm unsure of how to go about killing them- so I turn to the Tip.It Forums!

 

My stats are in my sig, and I'd appreciate it if somebody could post me the link to a guide or just write a mini-guide on how to go about slaying these guys.

from what i hear and do the best way would be use initiate armor or whatever degree of it you have, and use prayer potions

 

 

 

there are also safe spots to mage or range them as well

You could range them or dharoking them with prayer on works pretty well.

Well first off, always kill them in Chaos Tunnels, more kills. You could either melee them with prayer, melee them with guthans, or range safespot them. I usually range them as I can make a profit because prayer pots cost too much.

i recommend range or mage, i just find that melee isn't as good profit

They're great range xp and they happen to be weak to mage...so I'd recommend using whichever you'd like xp in.

prayer would be the best method for you and be sure to kill them in the chaos tunnels(the black demons in taverly dungeon and the edgy dungeon don't drop charms :-# )

I usually range them from safespots in edgeville dungeon.

 

 

 

Pretty good range xp and it isn't hard to find an uncrowded world.

If you feel melee'ing/ranging one at a time is too slow, cannon them in taverly dungeon with the safespot and hally/range them as the cannon hits the others

but remember that the ones in taverly dungeon give very few charms, best to use chaos tunnel, best combo is to melee with protect prayer and bring along a comb famailiar

I think I'm going to melee as many as i can with 10 p pots, then range all the remaining.

:thumbup: Good choice, you'll rake in the crimsons. Also, try using zammy brews instead of super sets. They cost basically nothing and boost att +str more than super pots do.

Thats wrong. According to tip.it 's herblore guide, super potions add +20% to att, str or def, while a zamorak brew only ups 15% str. On the other hand, zammy brew also restoers 10% prayer.

 

 

 

I'm not sure on the price and availability of zammy brews, though.

 

 

 

I agree on meleeing the demons with prayer. Wear proselyte, and either maximise you offensive stas with a defender or get more prayer bonus with a zammy book. Wear the mask of course, ot the helmet if available.

I read this, and had a black demon task. I always run out of super pots if it's a large task (170+), so I tried the zamorak brews. I brought three of them, used 10 doses for my entire task and repotted when my strength reached it's usual level.

 

They worked surprisingly well, so I decided to buy them to use on prayer tasks. Bought 200 instantly at 3gp over med. They're good to use on prayer tasks.
