It means other reports. Since you cannot query jagex anymore (as of this post) , jagex relys on reports to warn/blackmark/mute/ban the rulebreakers as needed. Even if a WBM reports something else that's been reported, action will still be taken based on the first report.

 

 

 

it's debateable what that means. i'd rather see a pmod come on and deny that they dont or cant recommend players to be pmods. they do have access whereas regular players do not. you do the math.

Just because someone reports someone doesn't make them a "wannabe mod". Most of the time they are reporting for a reasonable reason. The example in your case i can understand why they reported. You are not allowed to reveal any information about where you live etc, it is just apart of the internet safety rules.

 

 

 

I highly doubt they all "jumped" up to report you. It only takes one report to go through. As NJE03 has already said. Just be glad they understand the rules. Jagex and Player moderators need all the help they can as they cannot be in all places at once. Just like here on Tip.It the moderators need your help to report the topics that need to be removed/edited etc. It's a big team effort.

 

 

 

But the people who sit there and report and go "reported" they drive me insane, just report them and ignore them simple.

I mean in some circumstances like:

 

"hey wtf noob you [blobced] [blocked]" etc... But when its hardly affecting you at all, I don't feel its nessicary to report them, I feel its as low as scamming somebody.

 

 

 

EDIT: I'm using wanna-be-mod as term for somebody who'll report for anythign thats slightly against the rules, just for their own benefit.

Well you wouldn't get in trouble for saying "Youtube" unless you gave the name of the video or said what to search for, so not a great example. :

mainly because i got a day mute for it but i dont do it if they just "say" it but when i see someone in middle of a crowded place say to his friend "just go look on tip.it" i report them. same with runehq, zybez, or anyother

I hate wannabe mods, but it's really not hard to follow the rules on rs. All you have to do is well, not do the obvious.
