And when you melee with it; he does a flipy. :D I guess Bungie never thought how overkill it was or just expected everyone to use assault rifles. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." Lenin64
Yea...assault rifles...... The only reason anyone uses them in 3 is because it's the default. And the shoot for 2 seconds, melee, dead thing. But in Halo 2 and beyond, they made the pistol go from the Best Thing Ever to weaker than a grunt in antigrav for 3 years. Seriously, that pistol was awesome. I had a shrine in my closet dedicated to it. Command the Murderous Chalices! aquariusman
The assault rifle has become the worst weapon in Halo 3. What's even more annoying is that if it's an assault rifle vs. a battle rifle at close range, AR will win with the melee. BR is all about getting the 3-4 head shots to take out shields, then the final head shot for the kill. AR is just shoot in the enemies general direction, melee the first chance you get. I wish they would replace the AR with the SMG for a starter, or maybe a pistol, and increase the amount of BR's and AR's on map. You should be spawning near a BR or AR anyways. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. anonymous1234
I'm thinking about buying a used Halo game, most likely the first one. I never had a halo game and only played it a few times at my cousin's house. I want to really see what it is like, and I need to know something. Is it compatible with the xbox360? I know not all original xbox games are, but since its Halo, I'm hoping it is.

Lenin64
That's only about $25, though, right? Less than a game disc would cost. Command the Murderous Chalices! anonymous1234
That's only about $25, though, right? Less than a game disc would cost. But since I'm downloading the whole game and not using a disc, wouldn't it take up a lot more hard drive space? Edit: I wiki'ed microsoft points, and 1000 points is $12.50. That seems too good to be true though :-k
Lenin64
Yea, there'd be more space used. But unless you've got a really small drive, or have so much stuff on it that it's almost full, in which case I say "holy crap, that's a lot of stuff. Awesome." it shouldn't really be a problem. anonymous1234
I checked the marketplace and it is a relatively small download (a few GB) It costs 1200 MS points, so I'm guessing it will be around $15, which is awesome. I'm probably going to be able to get it if I offer to pay

By paying for a game with microsoft points, you don't actually BUY the game. You buy a licence to download the game, and this is a neverending licence, so yes. anonymous1234
Well, just now I sucked up the guts to ask my dad if I could buy it, and he said yes! \ At first when I confronted him he's like "what happened," because of the way I came up to him. (I'm still shy about asking my parents to buy me things, probably because I barely ever do it)He had no problems with it though and now it's downloading, and up to 10% : A couple hours to go...
