aquariusman
<3: Halo:CE - Best Storyline of any game I've ever played. I gotta borrow my friend's disc soon. Or at least manage to finish the final level with him :XD: Seriously, we've been off by a couple of seconds a few times... Ouch, I remember when i just barely pulled it off with like 0.1 seconds left lol Nice. I have actually discovered that Halo for PC sucks. I [illegally] downloaded it and couldn't stand the campaign or multiplayer. You... PIRATE! (Pssst, I did the same lolz) I actually would have been willing to buy it had it been good, there were issues with multiplayer for me that I think I can attribute to it being an illegal copy. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. anonymous1234
Well, just now I sucked up the guts to ask my dad if I could buy it, and he said yes! \ At first when I confronted him he's like "what happened," because of the way I came up to him. (I'm still shy about asking my parents to buy me things, probably because I barely ever do it)He had no problems with it though and now it's downloading, and up to 10% : A couple hours to go... And THAT is the only downfall of downloading Halo... ut takes a helluva long time to download. eh its worth it since the levels are so long, although I do find myself getting lost and not knowing where to go a LOT And thats why I either just drove around in circles until I found where I had to go, or folled something called the "Waypoint." Am I going to fast for you? lol Half the time there isn't a waypoint, and Cortana just says something unhelpful like "go up the hill" when I have no idea how to get up there or where it is for that matter

Faux
Halo:CE isn't really that confusing. The only time I had trouble was in the library and I just didn't realize that the tunnels led somewhere. I wish Halo 2 / 3 campaign was more like Halo:CE. The best level ever of the series is when you crash land on the first Halo and have to find the survivors. That was so fun driving around in a warthog. The second would be when you have to destroy those energy coils in the snow level with some marines. The third would be when you have to rescue the marines from the covenant ship. Not the actual ship level, but the level that leads there. Then the cartographer level. The landing intro was epic as hell. Pretty much everything before the Flood was awesome. The Flood was unneeded. The Elites were all the antagonists the game needed... but whatever. I screamed a little a couple of times when I first met up with the yellow elite wielding that sword. Those things were crazy because they'd actually hide and just lunge at you. I don't know what the hell happened that 2 / 3 felt so different. edit: oh and this was on the PC version. I don't know what's wrong with your copies but it was flawless for me. The graphics were pretty awesome too. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
aquariusman
The problems also could have just been from horrible lag since my good computer's graphic card ended up being incompatible with the game. So I ended up with the bad version, and I refused to play with graphics set to lowest settings because then the game looked absolutely horrible. But still, I just don't like FPS on a computer, I'm too used to a console. There's no such thing as regret. anonymous1234
Finished the game today, and what a shock the storyline was. There were at least 2 rooms filled with enemies you could go through without firing a single shot. And it had a scorpion. Assault on the Control Room was my fav... and there was a secret weapons/health thing if you accidently fell down that hole made by the Control Room... Lenin64
If you fell down the hole...you mean re-board the pelican at the beginning? I always died when I did that. I also loved grabbing a Banshee on the last bridge, since there was active camo nearby you could walk right up to it before the elite got in. And then you could fly right down to the control room instead of going to the area after the bridge, before climbing the CR pyramid. Command the Murderous Chalices! If you fell in the little hole there, there was a few rockets, and health. And, that banshee is Pro. HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more! Lenin64
Oh yea, weren't there also some marine bodies? I remember once, I somehow managed to kill the driver of the Wraith in the valley without destroying the Wraith itself. I was quite mad that I was unable to get in and drive it  It really sucked because I spent a long time trying to do that. Command the Murderous Chalices! Dizzle229
I think I've just realized why the Halo 3 campaign failed in comparison to CE and 2. Elites. They had shields, but were easy to beat. It was like playing multiplayer, except you're easily owning everyone. You mean because there weren't Elites in 3? Technically, the H3 brutes had shields, I think. And The Maw was the shiz, man. At point I could actually close my eyes and walk myself through the entire level- not on the actual game, I'd get killed firing blind, but I knew the entire level layout  The fun thing about 343 Guilty Spark was that there a bunch of stuff to find, too. I remember I had had the game for months, and one day my friend told me about something he had found in that level that I;d never seen; that room with an elevator, but the elevator just keeps screaming downwards (and explodes, I think). Of course, it took ages for him to find it again to show me.... Command the Murderous Chalices! I even tried using a video walkthrough and got lost, but the text ones are more helpful because of how in-detail they can get. Lenin64
Normally I laugh at using a game guide for a linear game, especially one without collectables, but that level is the exception. I think the first time I played it, I did so for at least an hour. I always try to "follow the enemies", because they only exist in areas where you need to be (for most games), but even that didn't work there. Command the Murderous Chalices! Lenin64
Well, you could see the armor degrade, sparking and such. What really sucks is that after you blew off the armor, that never regenerated, unlike Elite shielding. Command the Murderous Chalices!
