If he raised them, by which I think you mean activate them, that ring, along with the others would fire some sort of weapon that would kill everything in the Galaxy, as explained by Cortana. If you mean raze, then yea, the sentinels would go bonkers and kill him. If you mean something else I have no idea what. Halo's defenses are the sentinels. Halo's weapon is it's self.
