Hello,

I play runescape atm, 45 range and most skillz 40 or above.. but I really need some advice. Runescape is getting borred and I dont know what to do, I think, why should I train my fishing/mining/range etc., what is the goal of it? than I train for example my woodcutting to 70, only thing that I can do is cut yews, for what? gold? what I need to do with the gold xD? store it on my bank and show everyone how rich iám :P?. Training my fighting skillz is fun for mobs ofc but what is the goal of killing to mobs :P? reach a higher lvl? :P ( because I never play BH).. can somone tell me why runescape is fun and what is the goal of training my skillz :P?

another advice I need is, what is the best build for a Ranger? Ranger/Magic, Ranger+prayer/strength? can somone tell me it ;)?

ty for ur time :D

Well if you were a member I would suggest minigames.

Castle wars is quite fun, so is pest control and many others.

But for free players... not much I can think of there.

I would either get members or move on.

Hey there, welcome to Tip.It :D

On Topic: If you find Rune Scape, or any game for that matter, to be boring at any point, and you need help finding what to do, then just quit it. There is no shame or loss in doing so. If you want to play on then set yourself a huge goal of F2P 800 Total. Work your way at that and you will eventually get it. 800 is such a nice number too ;) You can set yourself any goals you want to, find something you like in the game and work at it, whether it be combat or non-combat.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Yeah, apart from skilling and getting rares, all you can really do in f2p is hang out with friends and have fun duels. If you're wanting more fun things to do, get mems and try out some of the minigames and quests.

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

The thing that picks up your arrow for you is the ava's attractor, available after animal magnistism.

I just wanna say, f2p isnt really worth playing anymore since the removal of the wilderness :(, so get members.

You should do lots and lots of quests, because they almost all have excellent rewards. Examples:

-Lost city gives you access to the fairy city of Zanaris with its many useful features, as well as the dragon dagger and dragon longsword

-Fairy Tale lets you use magic secateurs (valuable tool for farming herbs that lets you get lots of money) and fairy rings (the most extensive transportation system in the game.)

-Recipe for Disaster, even if you only do the bare minimum of it, gives you access to the bank chest in Lumbridge basement. Further completion of it gradually lets you in on the best gloves in the game, as well as many other great rewards.

-Recruitment Drive allows you to respawn in Falador and lets you wear Initiate Arour, which is like mithril but with a fat prayer boost.

-Slug Menace lets you upgrade your Initiate armour to Proselyte, which is like adamant with an even fatter prayer boost.

-Tears of Guthix lets you get a hefty chunk of free experience in your lowest skill, every week.

-Grand Tree lets you use gnome gliders, in addition to a selection of other benefits.

-Swan Song has daunting requirements, but it gives you access to monkfish, perhaps the best fish in the game. And as a side bonus, it lets you use bone seeds, which summon a skeleton to do a little dance for you. Great for parties.

-Icthlarin's Little Helper lets you talk to cats and gives you access to Pyramid Plunder, the fastest thieving experience in the game at high levels.

-The Feud teaches you how to knock people out to steal from them, the other fastest thieving exp at medium levels.

-Throne of Miscellania and its sequel Royal Trouble gives you a kingdom full of workers ready to do your bidding, who will gather resources for you every day for a small fee. They charge much less than the grand exchange prices, so it's incredibly easy to flip them back for a large profit with little to no work.

-Smoking Kills lets you access the awesomeness of slayer points, which give you enticing rewards for training your slayer skill.

-Cold War lets you transform into a penguin. 'Nuff said, right?

-Family Crest gives you access to gloves that help you very much in cooking fish, casting bolt spells, and getting fast smithing experience.

-Death Plateau lets you wear Climbing Boots, which cost only 12 gp but give a +2 bonus to strength.

-As a First Resort lets you use the Oo'Glog spa pools to get infinite run, increase your hp and prayer well above their usual maximum, and other such benefits.

-Wolf Whistle and Druidic Ritual unlock the summoning and herblore skills, respectively.

-Cabin Fever lets you access Mos Le'Harmless to kill lv35 snakes that drop snake hides worth 2k every kill, play the entertaining minigame Trouble Brewing, or kill Cave Horrors that drop valuable Black Masks occasionally. It also halves the cost of using a charter ship.

-Desert Treasure unlocks the Ancient Magicks, full of powerful combat spells; Lunar Diplomacy unlocks Lunar Magicks, loaded with utility spells. Dream Mentor expands significantly on the Lunar spellbook.

-In Aid of the Myreque and Darkness of Hallowvale let you play the Temple Trekking minigame, a combat-based adventure full of puzzles and unique enemies with valuable rewards, including lumberjack clothes that increase your woodcutting experience.

-Heroes Quest gives you access to the Heroes Guild where you can fight a caged blue dragon, recharge amulets of glory, and mine high-level ores, including two runite rocks. It also lets you wield the dragon battleaxe and mace.

-Legends Quest lets you use the Legends Guild, with a recharge for skills necklaces and combat bracelets, a dungeon with shadow warriors for training, and the inexpensive Legends Cape that gives +7 to all defences.

-The Giant Dwarf lets you access Keldagrim, just for starting it, with a wide variety of shops that sell useful things, most notably the construction shop, which is the only place to get several items. Cmpletion of the quest lets you get gravestones that last 4 or 5 minutes before collapsing.

-Ghosts Ahoy lets you use the ectophial, which gives unlimited free one-click teleports to Port Phasmatys--very handy for many things.

-Horror from the Deep lets you use prayer books, which give +5 prayer and bonuses to attack and/or defence depending on the god they're aligned with, and can be wielded in the shield slot.

-One Small Favour gives you a steel keyring where you can store all your keys in one slot. It also unlocks a new gnome glider route.

-Enlightened Journey gives you access to balloons, which are great for crafting law runes, buying eyes of newt, training summoning, making planks, and farming. You also get to make origami balloons that you can let off wherever you want.

-Priest in Peril unlocks the entire continent of Morytania, in all its spookiness.

-My Arm's Big Adventure gives you an herb patch that's immune to disease, and has the best cutscenes out of any quest. You get to see the Drunken Dwarf get knocked off a cliff and then have his leg eaten by a troll. Sweet revenge!

Look, I could go on and on (and as you can see I already have) but my point is you should do lots of quests.

major downside of runescape in f2p is the skill grinding. and when u do grind the skills and make cash u cant really use it for anything. it used to be pking. like Bob would train melee stats etc. bob needs pking food so he goes fishing in karamja. in f2p pking was the thing u could spend money on. but now its gone so its really hard. for high levels they just go to bh but it depends on ur level. levels 50ish cant bh...

wat i did was make a new account designed to kill in lower crater. im not the only one, others have done it as well. level 55 is max and just make a pure out of it. then ull have fun. otherwise move on to another game if ur not getting members.

Maybe take a break and come back when you feel you want something from RS very much?

I took a break over a year, and now I'm back for Range 99 and FoG ratings (F2P). I'm now 96 Range and still happy training.
