can someone just explain to me some of the ways you can profit from junk that you make yourself? and some of the types of junk

Buy willow logs (18gp ea) -> fletch into willow long (u). They're worth 4x the price of the logs (72gp) and they're alright fletching xp. Many people will probably tell you to make maples, but I prefer willows.

i am doing maples right now i want to build some junk up just to have idk why if i buy something i can have junk to add in trade or for something any other ideas?

Junk will be useful if you get something good from a treasure trail and want to sell it for a higher price. It can also be useful when buying a rare like a phat.

if you get something like a black cane from a treasure trail, you could sell that for about 3-4mil with junk. However, things like animal masks need lots of junk to be sold with. Right now, a wolf mask sells for less than a mil on the G.E, but in a trade it can sell for 25mil.

Why are you even junk trading? It's ruining the economy of Runescape and driving prices up for the wrong reasons.

There's no profit in junk that's why it's called junk...

Junk has no real worth because nobody wants it. The only use of junk is to balance trades but the junk is worth nothing. However the time you invest making junk could you spend to make real gps instead which would be real profit.

Fletching willow longbows is probably the worst AND most marketed way to make junk. Look at it this way: your making ~"50k" in "junk" per hour. Fletching XP is very bad, nothing compared to yew longs - and no one says you even WANT to train fletching. Are you trying to say you have no way of making more then 50k an hour? I could easily name half a dozen money making methods over 500k an hour, and there are hundreds over 300-400k. Don't bother with trying to create "junk"; there is currently no easy made junk item.

ppl don't make junk for the sake of makin junk they get it from getting skills up my fletching lvl i already have about 500k worth of bows now one will buy and so i'll save them for a a junk trade

Exactly, you can either exchange, alch, or sell pouches for close to the GE price. So your junk is really only ~10% "junk", but 90% value. Meaning that 1m pouches is "worth" 900k, and is only 100k "junk". I like it when people sell me stuff using pouches as "junk", in one case I actually made money on a junk trade because the seller was too set on "junk" to try and sell the pouches in the GE. As for bows, willow are the exception, but as soon as you can make the higher level ones they sell easily on the GE.

Yup, or else try and buy something on the GE that sells for far more on the forums (good luck). If you get junk while training, it works, but is very slow. If you ever try to get junk, its a waste of time (At least at the time).
