Manage thy Kingdom, and money..

Featured Replies

i just did Royal Trouble today, and i want to put in 750k to make a profit.

But, i don't know whats best to put my workers on, can anyone give me some suggestions?

Also, i don't really know the fine points of how it all works. The tip.it guide makes my head hurt...

If you're looking for profit, put your guys on coal and fish. If you want things like tree seeds and nests, go with maples. You have a chance of getting magic and yew tree seeds w/ maples, which can turn into a huge profit, but only if you're lucky.

The fine points... I'm not sure if there really is any. You put money in the coffers, and the workers "withdraw" 10% of the money in there a day, and use it to get you supplies. You get supplies based on how many people are working on them, and how much money they are taking. The more money they take, the more of those supplies you will get a day. I think the max amount of money they can take a day is 75k.

Herbs

Biggest profit for investment

The only herb you lose money on is tammorin, and thats not too bad, cuz you don't get nearly enough to lose any significant loss

Contrary to Popular Belief, 2 plus 2 does NOT equal 6 1/2

i wouldnt go with herbs, id go with max coal and fish or flax, flax if u want herb seeds, fish if u want random good stuff, fish gives u lvl 1 clues tons of gems and other yummy stuff. u can spin flax and make even more of a profit(boring). also make sure the second quest is done(royal trouble?). do not set any to idle! u dont have to go every day but every other day is good, dont forget an axe.

big tip here-many people disagree with me but... i put my house is rellekka(sp). do a house telly and hop a boat. there is also a fairy ring accessible, short hop from ge.

Fish>Flax>Coal>Maples>Anything else.

I always put bout 3mill into the coffers

Put 10 on maples (great profit)

then the rest on herbs

Fish>Flax>Coal>Maples>Anything else.

+1

With 100% on fish and 50% on flax, I routinely more than double my money.

yes, flax and fish is the best, however keep this in mind you lose 1% of your subjects being content, which means you'll get less supplies, every 1% is about 1-2k profit lost.

Corporeal Drops:2xHoly elixers

Bandos Drops: Bcp(soloed) 5x hilts 8x tassets

Armadyl Drops:Armadyl Hilt(trio)

Zamorak Drops: 2xZamorakian spear 3x Steam battlestaff

Okaaaaay then... 10 workers on fish or 10 on flax? Or is the difference not considerable?

Current priceings show flax is better than fish, but if you compare the two graphs, you'll notice that flax fluctuates while fish is steady. Unless you plan on keeping a constant vigilance on your kingdom to maximize your profit, i would just use fish 10 flax 5.

You might want to consider what resources the kingdom can produce that you would want to be using. For instance it would be considerably cheaper to have the kingdom mine you coal that to have it produce other items and then use that profit to buy coal in the GE. Fish can produce considerable cooking xp over time, while still providing a profit. Maples can be burnt and the seeds sold or farmed. I would recommend experimenting with different resources to find what works best for your long term character goals instead of focusing solely on short term profit.

For instance it would be considerably cheaper to have the kingdom mine you coal that to have it produce other items and then use that profit to buy coal in the GE.

No, no it wouldn't.
