RuneScape Information

  1. ...But the maze always had awsome rewards... 3000 coal is fine by me Anyway, I have not gotten a single random since the update, which kind of bugs me; furthermore, i don't know about you guys, but i miss things like tree spirits and rock golems (not the evil chicken). These were some of the oldest randoms, and, to me, defined the class. Finally, Iffy in the Varrock clothes shop will give costumes to you.
  2. In a way. Some things, like how you obtain naptha (use a fractionalization still), are certainly from runescape, but most things are less definite in origin. My innate skill of economy may come runescape, but things like problem solving are definitely not (I cannot imagine how so many of you think that sliding puzzles are hard! I'm thinking MEP2 will be a disappointment). Anyway, most of my knowledge is only seeded by RS, and actually comes from the wikis. If i find something I wish to learn more about, I simply google it or look it up on wikipedia. Thats how I learned about greek fire, the reaction inside the bomb from Regicide. Which wouldn't actually explode. Excuse me while i digress into rant Sulfur, naptha, and lime DOES NOT EXPLODE This mixture is very similar to that in black powder, with the carbon replaced by hydrocarbon, which would not significantly alter the RXN, and the saltpeter replaced with lime, which does. Saltpeter, also known as Potassium Nitrate or KNO3, is an oxidizer, but Lime, also known as Calcium Oxide or CaO, is not. In order for there to be any sort of reaction, there must be an oxidizer, namely oxygen. Unfortunately, that doesn't react NEARLY fast enough, because the concentration is so low (gasses aren't too dense, you know). There needs to be some kind of solid oxidizer for a RXN fast enough to create an explosion, so KNO3 is used. CaO, however, is not an oxidizer. Don't get me wrong, its still awesome. It was used in greek fire because it generates massive amounts of heat when it makes contact with water. Also, the product of this RXN is Ca(OH)2, a strong base. CaO also absorbs CO2, turning it into CaCO3, also known as limestone. Further more, you used a wool cloth as a fuse. Wool is flame resistant. IT ONLY BURNS WHEN EXPOSED TO AN OPEN FLAME!!! Thank you.
  3. TY!!!! I can finally show off my amazing number of qps every time i post!!! (while being seemingly modest) :P edit: why merci, why!!! ^^^^^^ :(
  4. Herbs Biggest profit for investment The only herb you lose money on is tammorin, and thats not too bad, cuz you don't get nearly enough to lose any significant loss
  5. The bin is much needed. Someone I knew stocked like 20k snowballs, and now can't get them out #-o Oh yes, I still support this, even if you change it to where you have to kill puppies to use the bank
  6. I always calculate exactly how much xp it is, how many logs I need to cut, iron left to smelt, etc. but I usually do it in the most inefficient way possible, just because, that way is always the funnest way (barbarian fishing for str and agility, ftw!!! \ \ \ )
  7. In the tricks, tips, and notes section it states that you should not turn all your dramen staffs into lunar staffs, because you cannot equip them. This is not true because if you make duplicates, you can weild one after giving one to the onriomancer (spelling).
  8. ooh ooh ooh another, slightly inapropriate one!!!
  9. rune nails- or of any metal- are not useless. they are used to make the totally awsome rune brutal arrows that own all undead creatures
  10. Buy a whip and some barrows armour (Veracs, Guthans, or Dharoks), save about 50mil to merchant or skill, and invest the rest in rares (mask set and a couple of santas {spent too much to get a Phat})
  11. Imagine, if you will, using 53,000 dragon bones on a home altar while keeping the burners lit and constantly running to get more bones. And that's if you're starting from about level 50. I bet it gets old after 32k! Actually, if you use a servant and bring the bones as notes, you can pretty much do strait leveling
  12. I think prayer is one of the least admirable skills. You can buy your way to 99, play pc to get it, or just kill tons of goblins  ham fanatic b(^_^)d. Also with the addition of home alters, you can level pretty quickly. The weird thing is, I haven't ever seen a single prayer cape before, but I've seen everything else :-k
  13. Prince Ali Rescue. I just loved doing it, except for the beer part, kept drinking it :wall: Also, since it was the first quest I did, it set the standard for me.
  14. must say the bronze plate body thing is one pixel too high other than that pretty good!!!
  15. in RS money IS (almost) everything also, LOL means Laugh Out Loud took me like 2 years to find out save up like 10 mil and on may 31 2006 spend it all on rares dont blow everything on house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
