August 11, 200817 yr Since elves are immortal (or an elf has never as of yet died of old age), it wouldn't surprise me if Haluned was alive in the present. Anyway, weren't sheep supposed to be the first creatures on Runescape, followed shortly by cats? Then again, since we know that Guthix was not The Creator, we could even doubt that. P.S. I loved the reference to Portal (Examine Portal: There's cake through here, apparently) =D> ~ W ~
August 12, 200817 yr As I said we are following traces of Elven past Islwynn- Glarial Glouphrie Eluned-Haluned? It is possible =] Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Glouphrie is a Gnome and his only tie in with the Elven Storyline is that his City is poisoning Isafdar gnome lives beside baxtorian falls, so... perfectly normal they got in touch with those baxtorian elves when they were still around anyway, it is oaknock that get in touch with ilfeen to make his saw... glouphrie seems to be just sitting around with his evil pets... August 12, 200817 yr Here are some other things she says: What are these strange beings? There are others in this world! These must be the humans Guthix spoke of. *Gasp* I've been spotted! Looking at the third thing she says, could she possibly be reporting to Guthix? It's a stretch, I know.
August 15, 200817 yr Alright, let me go through what I understand from this quest [hide=Spoilers]The Humans came to this world through a portal, from anoth plane, that was said to have been created by guthix Guthix, at the time, visited the humans to preach balance to them, and be a guide of some sort. Would Guthix tell the other races in Runescape of the humans showing up? Who was Haluned going to report to? Was she going to report to the elders in Isafdar? Why would the elves take such caution, unless it be of nature or being a spy, to not reach out to the humans? So would that mean that the elves are cautious of humans? THis being to lead up to Tyras and the Mourners? Were the humans naturally born cake makers? Also, If Jagex were to create the quest, they would have you receive actual contact with Haluned. Its possible that Jagex created Haluned as sort of a puzzle to make, if we actually had the time to examine our surroundings? What if Jagex makes a quest involvine Jorral and the key, where the elves mend the key to an advanced state, allowing up to teleport to the families House, but also to break the barrier of the past, to view old gielinor. That would be Jagex's ultimate update, Old Gielinor.[/hide]
August 15, 200817 yr So what I've gotten from all of this is that this occured during the First Age, and that the Elf was a scout for the group of elves that had recently set up shop in Runescape. The elves had not previously encountered any other intelligent life. (Which doesn't rule out the possibilty that they had met ogres...), and at this point, the only races that can be confirmed as inhabitants of this realm are: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Gnomes. Also, when the cutscene of Guthix and the flying runestones is playing, did anyone else notice the smaller runestone that flew toward the upper left corner of the screen? It appeared to have the teardrop shape of the images on blood and water runes, but it was a hollow outline, in a darker blue than the water rune.. Does anyone care to speculate about the possible meaning of this runestone? Or am I just drawing too much from nothing? Its a water rune.. Fire and water are in the forground and background with air in between The following statement is true. The previous statement is false. 60% of all statistics are made up 90% of the time andrew i love you & want you to have my babys!!! Finally, I get to save the Earth with deadly lasers instead of deadly slide shows!
