An easy solution would be: just to make increase the amount arrows you get from bars/logs, and when you use them, you cannot pick them up anymore.

I myself have no problem with arrows thieves, as i always get my arrows back before they appear to other people.

 

 

 

But evrywhere i train, where other people train ranged, there is always an argument and name callings because of one or two people take the arrows the rangers shoot before they themselves have killed the monster(hope that made sence).

You almost never get all your arrows back anyway (They "break"). The trick is to just get a [cabbage]load of arrows to begin with. Then it won't matter if you lose 200 of 'em.

Well, he obviously didn't have very high range because he was using iron arrows and wasn't killing them very quickly. So, I went around and picked up all his arrows. But, as soon as I had finished filling up on ores, I went up there and gave all his arrows back to him. it made his day, and made me feel better. :D

I know what you mean, but people call them arrow thives. The main problem would be the name calling and insults following by taking arrows from a ranger, as the rangers ofcourse are annoyed by it and call the thives noobs or some other word, and the "thives" 99% of the time are cocky and start with insulting and calling names.

There are no arrow theives, it is the ranger's fault if they do not pick up their arrows in time. Yes, it's annoying but live with it.

it isnt always the rangers fault they dont pick them up in time some enemys dont die in 3 seconds but thqat still doesnt mean those who pick them up are thieves

Anyway, this seemed to be more about the "solution" to the problem that isn't there. So, since there is no problem, I don't think making 50 shafts per log is necessary. 20 would be nice, since it would be an even interval of 10 when calculating things, but other than that, not really necessary.

heres a thought instead of just rasing it altogether to fix this "problem" how about making it lie runecrafting and have the amount you make per log depend on your fletching lvl?

first off, its theives. not theifs. secondly, arrow takers are a problem. There is no timer above the arrows that you fire. Therefore, you can't tell when they are visible to others, and most rangers don't want to waste more time running after their arrows every second. Another thing, arrows cost money to buy..expecially in f2p where we can't make our own. Now a normal civil human being would return an item that they know they did not pay for. But wait. And btw, whoever said "make 50 per bar/log" is the reason that bolts aren't popular, you can't make mass numbers... so doing that would hurt every other type of range even more.

there are no arrow thives is what we clarified. Its meerly people who pick stuff up off of the ground that archers are to careless to pick up.
