Need 3k

And I thought the beggars were bad the last time I played, which was 2 years ago. I like staying in the guilds and minigames where I don't see much of that, but have to endure this every time I come out to trade.

yes, I have money

yes, I will help in terms of giving directions and instructions

No, I will not give away money unless you're giving me something of equal value in return, i.e. some cosmics, nats, or laws.

Want money? Do something more productive than asking me for it!

Last time I left, it was because I couldn't stand the Chinese-named macros. I wonder if this, combined with uni and work, is going to drive me away again in another 2 weeks.

"People are idiots. Some just like to say they reported you to see your reaction, others are just spastic losers that believe everything is reportable, and others got banned and end up reporting everyone because they are mentally disturbed"

I can see how it could be frustrating, but you really shouldn't let stuff like that get to you so much.

It doesn't get me that much. It's actually my only complaint against the game, as I find the rest of this quite addicting. Or maybe the problem's limited to F2P and solely in Lumbridge and the exchange center. And my gaming's always been limited to summers on days when I don't have to work anyway.

"People are idiots. Some just like to say they reported you to see your reaction, others are just spastic losers that believe everything is reportable, and others got banned and end up reporting everyone because they are mentally disturbed"

Agreed, and what's even more annoying is, "Can I borrow your GS for free?" from complete strangers... while I'm using it... I'm fine with giving advice, but people shouldn't expect complete strangers to provide for them.

guess I'm lucky I haven't had that yet. I'm okay, actually, more amused, with people following me around asking me where I got the trimmed armor and druid robes. I'm laugh when people try to buy them off of me. What I don't like is people following me around asking for large sums of money. For the love of Guthix I do not give free stuff unless it's a drop party.

Just pretend that you have already given away 3k and say I cant give any more away for another 15 mins and ignore them...

Luck be a Lady

I have to agree with you there. What young, nooby miniclippers need to understand is that Runescape is about "free itms plz", it's a game where you have to be productive to get by.

There has always been begging, now it's just compressed into one convenient and annoying number. I still think it is better than people asking me to give them free full rune  freaking bloodsuckers.

so mini_me, people actually asked that?

"People are idiots. Some just like to say they reported you to see your reaction, others are just spastic losers that believe everything is reportable, and others got banned and end up reporting everyone because they are mentally disturbed"

People used to ask me, that, so yeah.

It's not like I can make it =/

I'd have to buy a whole different set. Actually, I lent a guy full rune once, and he stopped playing for a while, and so did I. He came back a little while after I did, and he couldn't give it back because of the new trading system. Go figure.

Tbh, it is still less annoying than 'phr33 s700f pl0>

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

Wheres my 3k P10x!!!

Thats exactly why I completed the lumbridge diary so fast...these noobs followed me asking me for stuff for their diary. I paid like an extra 1000 bucks to everyone I bought stuff from. Why? I am not riuch number one, quite the contrary, but because I am nice to helpful people. Unlike Mr level 3 with the name that goes something like BRHSSJJJJJJ111

I think the only way to get that back is to trade it all for 3k less than what the set's worth and then have him give you back the money 3k at a time.

Hmm, well, Need 3k is much easier to play with.

You need 3k?

What are you willing to do for it?

Nothing? Don't need 3k very badly then, do you?

In any case, unless they are specifically asking you for the 3k, ignore them. It's better than people who used to expect you to give or undersell an item that you're using to them so that they didn't have to go and find one themselves. (Rune Pickaxe, Rune Woodcutting Axe, rune platemail/scimmy) or just sell to them the tool that you're using so they wouldn't have to go and get it themself (such as a lobster cage).

This is what I used to do(not sure if it will work now), show them all my gold(about 2 mil). Add to ignore and run away/teleport.

Yeah, I see that a lot while I'm cutting magics or yews. A guy wcing with a rune axe would ask a guy wcing with a dragon axe to borrow it. It always sparks the thought of "How stupid can you get?" and reminds me of why I hate 80%+ population of runescape.

I was lured into someone wanting 3k. He took me to his house, made me tea, gave me pizza (2 pinapple) and asked for 3k. I can't express what I was felling but: -_-

He had a house (quite large), VOLINTARILY gave me stuff, and then asked for 3k. I said

[hide=What did I say?]No.[/hide]

He said: WHAY ITZ NT MCH MONY.

If "ITZ NT MCH MONY" WHY ASK FOR IT? GET IT YOURSELF!

I just ran out with my pizza. (Which I sold, as a "Ha Ha Ha" moment.)

I reminiss now and again. I started with nothing. (Literally, I took out the gold in my bank in tutorial island, and you lose it. -_-) I never begged, borrowed or stole, I made it. I was told I was poor by a level 90 at the scorpions in Al Kaharid. And after that, I was never the same. But that's another story. Now go to sleep.

Not to sound like a typical igore it poster, but this is the exact reason why i turned my public chat off in cowded areas. It really makes rs more playable. :D

Yeh i hate these people. Or the ones that just trade you for no reason.

And I hate giving advice aswell, I don't like to be rude so ill answer something like where is ice mountain but then I get "take me!!". So I don't give it anymore.

There has been alot of member's money wasted on programmers make things like all the lumby guides, shoo noobs go talk to them.

There has always been begging in Runescape, only now they can only ask for 3k. Just tell them no and keep on walking. I find them annoying, but not too annoying that they drive me insane.
