So, im going to try to get 99 strength through slayer. I heard guthans is a great thing to use when slaying, but saradomin sword is best for training strength quickly. What would be a better use of my money?

Get a Bunyip and a Sara sword.

When i got my guthans set, i sold it 3 days later. It was such a pain, i didn't feel it was worth it. So in my opinion, get 68 summoning. Saradomin sword isn't worth it either.

It has the same stats as the whip, it just trains strength. Also, you can't wield a shield.

I would say Guthans. Unless you really want to go train for 99 Strength. In which case an SS with a Bunyip would do.

You could possibly stay at tasks longer. Meaning more EXP and more drops. But it really depends on which you want to level faster. Guthans for Slayer, SS for Strength.

Another suggestion: buy guthans, slay until you have enough charms for 68 summoning, sell guthans, get 68 summoning, buy a sara sword if you have enough money, otherwise make some and then buy a sara sword.

Best suggestion so far, ill probobly do that, considering guthans is cheaper, and i can make the difference in money through drops from slayer creatures.

Unless you plan on camping one monster to train strength (meaning no slayer) then a SS is your best bet.

As you increase in slayer level though, be warned the amount of "Guthanable" tasks decreases as you will need special equipment to kill certain things. (I haven't used my guthans for about 5 or 6 tasks now) But when I do get to use it, its mighty useful. Just stick with your guthans + D scimmy as a primary str training weapon when not healing.

Guthans for slayer and Sara sword and a good summoning familiar (bunyip etc..) for strength training.

If you willing to get fast and easy strength exp, go for saradomin sword but remember you gotta get 68 summoning or buy your own food. If you are not concerned about strength, then go for guthans. Overall, guthan's is must for long-term slayer training, and of course it's better/faster than bunnyip.
