Firemaking is like 100k logs right? that's one click on the tinderbox, and another on the log. thats like 200k clicks.

anyways i my 99 firemaking with amples and i can tell you... firemaking might be fast xp as with prayer but all the clicking makes its hard!(and you might just go insane in the process)

prayer is easy to level, but it is extremely hard to buy.

Prayer, along with Construction, is probably one of the most expensive skills in the game. It can get into the 100Ms + easily, and it's hard as heck for F2P'ers to train. Going with double nats, you'll spend hours upon hours, days upon days, just getting the money. When you add the time it takes to click over and over (apparently 129k times), its just as hard, or even harder than other skills.

 

 

 

Oh, and I'd love to add how many clicks it takes for construction. Going with the fastest methods at the lowest possible levels, the results are listed below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6 clicks for 960 xp, 7 clicks for the oak planks again (not counting typing "16").

 

6 clicks for removing the furniture too.

 

19 clicks per 960 xp, 1,096,278 - 18,247 = 1,078,031 / 960 * 19 = 21,337

 

 

 

6 clicks for 1.2k xp, 7 clicks for the oak planks again (not counting typing "20").

 

6 clicks for removing the furniture too.

 

13 clicks per 1.2k xp, 13,034,431 - 1,096,278 = 11,938,153 / 1.2k * 19 = 189,021

 

 

 

Uh oh, get ready for heck peoples. Without banking or the first 33 levels (which really is pointless to add), you get 210,358 or an estimate of about 212k clicks to get the 99 starting from 1. May be more than prayer, but it seems faster, mostly because you can talk to NPC's (or have to) while training.

I don't even have a guilded altar to use, if I'm gonna get 99 Prayer I'm gonna be using the Ectofungus. You know how long that will take? Ages.

I dont really buy bones and simalar skill related things. The only things I buy are teak logs for cremating vyres. I think prayer is medium if you just bury bones and dont buy them.

Incredible waste of time. Making money for 75 cons+altar then using an altar before you're going to train pray would save you a LOT of time.

 

 

 

Assume the average not gwd'ing/merching person makes 300k/hour, you can use about 800 bones/hour on the altar (200k xp/hour), and the bones are 2k each. You can buy 150 bones/hour, which is 38k xp. It takes about 10 minutes to use those bonus on the altar. 70 minutes = 38k xp, 60 minutes is 32,5k xp/hour.

 

 

 

So yes, unless you have a good way to make money (gwd/91 rc/merching/whatever), prayer is slow to level. It's not hard though.

easy but repetitive to get, very very expensive to get. currently it would cost me about 98m from 78 prayer, which is what i am saving for atm. only 52m to go...

prayer is faster than most skills if you no-life tens of millions of GP then click the same things for hours on end.

Uh making 100m isnt that hard. I had the cash pile up in the bank for prayer from just leveling slayer. I agree with you though, the clicking was painful. I have respect for FM capes after getting 99 prayer, its brutal.
