The portal to the RuneCrafting guild..

Featured Replies

...doesn't it seem a little too... well, out of place? I would have thought it would have been placed somewhere else like the basement of the Wizard tower, considering that area was once a powerful area. Wouldn't this be a better place, story-line wise, to put the portal there? Don't forget, Wizard Sedridor is down there, which is one of the major wizards involved in RuneCrafting.

What do you think?

Too late now. You can imagine the rants by the players who didn't read this news update...

I can't understand why some players rant about every single little thing... :wall:

Well, it's not a rant, it's just a suggestion. ;)

The reason why I am suggesting this is because it seems out of place where it is now.

Wizards have a thing about placing portals high up in their towers. Think of the Magic guild.

Maybe they HAVE to have them high up. Something about mystical energy or something ::'

I think it looks fine where it is.

Don't think so, you can place a portal chamber in your dungeon, can't you?

Honestly, I was up there for a clue, I thought it was one of those hidden update tricks like you could walk through a wall or something.

Suddenly Im in the RC guild!

I knew it was there, just didnt expect that portal wall to be it.

I think the reason is a bit more practical. If the basement/first floor blows up, then the entire building will collapse, but if the higher floors blow up, you can just build back up.

Yeah i think a small hole in a wall is an idiotic place to put a "guild"

LOL

I agree/support even though its not that big of a deal at all.

Probably. That's would also be why they would keep the vast majority of the books on the ground floor, away from the portals.

it is a bit dumb to put a portal on the second floor wall were hardly any one notices it (including me lol).
