Recently got back from Kendo training and thought to myself "hmm, wonder how my herbs are growing". i head over to the computer and attempt to log into world 99... "Invalid Username/Password" i thought, "eh? must have mis spelt something" typed it all veeeery slowly. "Invalid Username/Password" "oh joy, some slack, lazy jerk has stolen MY account." so i've currently sent a tracing request on it. thankfully i have all my details from first password created to recent Pay-By-Phone Number. my rant is: why must some people stoop so low as to steal accounts from other players? in the time they have tried stealing, they could have fixed up their own account. -.- [/Rant] Popoto.~<3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Honestly, its not too hard to prevent this stuff, so if this is this first time something like this has happened, learn from it what you can and don't let it happen again, but if this is a repeated occurrence, its really just as much your fault. I have played RS for a long time and I've never had killer stats but nobody I knew IRL ever had their account stolen either unless they gave somebody the PW. It is a shame people go so low and hopefully you get your account back. Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. BUT if they dont succede in swapping the money over to a diffrent account then they resort to emptying the bank out, deleting freinds list, raking up black marks such things like that, but hey what woild you rather have a banned account or an empty one?
