Cannoning Trolls?!

Where do i cannon them, for the fastest experience? I'm currently at the Trollheim Mountain, cannoning those five Thrower Trolls near the GWD entrance. Any other suggestions?!

EDIT --> Oh, speaking of which, does anyone have a multicombat map of the ENTIRE world (not just the Wilderness?) They used to have one somewhere, but i can't find it anymore =(.

You haven't done the Fremennik Isles quest?

 

 

 

I'd recommend it just for its reward (Helm of Neitiznot) and access to Yaks.

 

 

 

Anyway, the Ice Trolls are good. Just cannon them north of Jatiszo (credits TruthScape). REALLY fast XP (both Ranged and Slayer) and great loot. Several Rune items aren't rare, 100% Big Bone drop and occassional Granite Shields and Long/Curved bones.

 

 

 

Just Protect from Melee with a Round Shield as made in quest (really use it) and you're fine. I did a 160 Troll task in about half an hour/45 minutes using this method and made only 5K loss (Cannonball cost at 130k, loot at 125k).

Ice trolls north of the east fremmenik isle (forgotten name) are very good for cannoning and you should definately do them.

 

 

 

You do not have to complete "The Fremmenik Isles" to kill these trolls you only have to have started it. However you will need to find yourself a round shield from the quest to use although these can be bought off the GE as you need this to protect you from the stone throwing trolls so as far as these Inventory/setup goes this is what I use:

 

 

 

Setup

 

 

 

Helm: Slayer Helment (If on task otherwise Neiznot)

 

Neck: Amulet of Fury > Glory > God Stole

 

Chest: Proselyte > Initiate > Monk's Robes

 

Hands: Barrows Gloves

 

Legs: Proselyte > Initiate > Monk's Robes

 

Feet: Dragon Boots

 

 

 

Weapon: Whip or any other good one handed weapon

 

Shield: Fremmenik round shield (the Fremmenik Isles round shield not the Fremmenik Trials one)

 

 

 

Inventory:

 

 

 

One click teleport (incase of emergency)

 

5 Prayer restore potions

 

Dds

 

Holy Wrench

 

250 nature runes

 

1250 Fire runes

 

Fill the rest of your inventory with sharks maybe leaving some spaces for drops.

 

Not forgetting ofcourse your cannon and cannonballs

 

 

 

You will kill the trolls by meleeing them and with the cannon you should gain roughly 50k range exp on a task. While killing them keep protect from melee on at all times as they do hit quite hard. Watch your health and eat when required (you will be getting hit by the ranging female trolls) Pick up drops and etc.. I recommend alching the rune items as you will get quite a few, watch out for valuable seeds and herbs and the occasional granite shield (not a particularly rare drops maybe 1 in 70 kills).

Oh did I forget to mention you'll almost definately pay for your cannonballs and make a profit on this task.

Only issue with the ice trolls is they require constant attention. No time for chatting to friends etc.
