Cromeus
Well, I'm trying to get to 60/60/60 melee stats before becoming a member. So far I have 49 attack, 50 strength, and 45 defense. Training at Ankous, using salmon, making 4 - 10k profit per trip. Is there anywhere better than these for EXP/money?

Would have already, but I accidentally put it on my mule account, and I'm $1 short on my PayPal. xD
Sir_Sibz
Perhaps you can try the dungeon with the hill giants, but I know that this place is normally crowded, but hill giants drop big bones and limpwurt roots, which is good for money. Otherwise, you should try the stronghold of security, level 2 or level 3. Whatever you're comfortable with. That place would only really be good for exp, though. Edit: Tbh, I'm not exactly sure about the best way to train melee in F2P. I've just found those useful for myself.
akebono
for exp i think its better to kill flesh crawlers or giant spiders..but they dont really drop anything good You gonna get got

Well, the stuff on level 3 only hits 2 less than Ankous, plus they lower my strength by 7 with curses, so Ankous are faster EXP, and more money. As for hill giants, crowded 24/7. >_<

(Except for gold ore, rune mining, and yews at exceptionally high wc.) And yeah, fleshies are the way to go. SHIELZZZ69
Nobody quote me on this because i know i am right. The best f2p XP in the game is giant spiders in the 3rd level of stronghold of security. I've got over 1m xp this week there but thats with my stats - not with yours. They do not drop anything but they auto attack. The people who curse you, you don't have to fight them. When the spiders stop attacking just go to another room where there are more or run to the nearest wall and hope they attack again. 'THIS IS THE BEST F2P XP' not the best f2p money. Your ether training for money or xp. Cochroaches are too hard for you and fleshies aren't hard enough. Go to spiders. 99 Strength Achieved 26/9/08. L0L in 3 years I've made 7m. In the past 2 days I've made 7.2m on top of that thanks to Bounty Hunter. So why play for 3 years when you can do that?
Ouchy
I agree with you, SHIELZZZ69, 100%, but for his current levels, Flesh Crawlers are going to be more beneficial for him. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Kay, tried that, because it was getting annoying, leaving the room through two doors just to re-agro. ...At 50 DEF, wearing full rune including gloves and berserker shield, the lvl 50 spiders are hitting up to 7 on me. They just have have low accuracy. ;o

Ouchy
And how do ice giants compare? Ice Giants hit harder than Giant Spiders do, you are going to end up costing yourself money if you decide to go there (Food, potions, etc.) My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Ice Giants hit harder than Giant Spiders do, you are going to end up costing yourself money if you decide to go there (Food, potions, etc.) Both Ice giants and Giant Spiders hit 7. They have 70 hp, and a max hit of 7 Anyways, I tried the flesh crawlers when I was going for 60 attack and defence and they worked very well for me. R.I.P.
