Your opinion?

Featured Replies

I need some opinions on this. I just got a tattoo today and the guy doing it asked if I could get it filled in tomorrow because he had some things to do and he didn't want to have to rush it. So I text my girlfriend tell her I just got it done and sent her a picture, and she replies 'omg your so gay bla bla bla your a chicken (in less nice terms)' and I told her what the guy said and shes like no whatever your just scared.

I don't think its too unreasonable to get a better tattoo because the guy has some stuff to do and doesn't want to screw it up.. but maybe i'm wrong, your opinions?

So your girlfriend is insulting you because you want to get your tattoo completed tommorrow?

My solutions:

A) Dump your girlfriend, if my interpretation was correct she is a complete idiot.

B) Obviously get it finished off, if your going to do a job do it well

She sounds charming.

Would you rather have a tattoo done that day that looks okay, or one done tomorrow that looks good? That should answer the question. After all, what's worse, being teased for a day by your girlfriend, or having a badly done tattoo for life?

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.

Its simple, there's nothing she can do about it and she has to accept it.

What kind of a tattoo is it? Is it big/small?

My opinion as well.

By the way, I think TipIt would be pretty interested in what that tattoo is. :)

I've seen a lot of good tatoos that have taken a few days to complete, so I don't really see the problem. Oh yeah, if that was your girlfriend's serious response, then I suggest becoming a free man again.

Yes, the great TipIt in the screen requires a noble sacrifice of a picture of your tattoo.

Your girlfriend seems, as assassin said, 'charming' to say the least. I suggest taking the path which doesn't wreck your tattoo, If you're going to do something permanent to your body, you may as well do it well.

No offence but this seems the kind of "relationship" problem an 8 yr old would have.

It's not a relationship problem shes just being retarted in my opinion. I've been with her for 2 years so I'm not going to dump her, but she's like, well It won't look good , and My response to that was OKAY so it doesn't look great for 1 day, shutup.

I basically told her to get over it I'm finishing it tomorrow.

Btw, I got my initials in Old English on the inside of my ankle but it's higher. It'll definatly look better when it's colored in I agree with that. But the fact she's 'mad' about it is pissing me off.

Some tattoos take months or years to complete, all in the name of perfection. I wouldn't get a half-assed tattoo that will be with me for the rest of my life just because my girlfriend is being impatient and immature.

So kill her.

Jesus Christ, why are you coming here to complain about it?

Killer her? Good idea. I was coming here to see if she was right or wrong, jesus christ why are you on my topic to complain?

Tattoos are forever, girlfriends arn't.

On reflection, this probably just belongs in this thread. It's just a different take on what aspect of the relationship the advice is about.
