Well, I had some surplus cash, and D2Hs had hit a low, so I decided to get one.

 

 

 

Besides looking pretty awesome for the price, is it good for anything?

id say its good for multicb pvp. but careful u dont k0 ur own clan mates. actually tho, i think its lame. it was a good attempt at a d2h, but spec is worthless.

I like seeing the 20s, so I've been bringing it and a DDS on slayer tasks, DDS for spec. Yeah, the D2H spec is crappy, and doesn't even look cool.

If you bought it cause it looks cool, then you made a bad buy. I woulda spent the money on skills. And, the only thing thats good is the spec, if your lucky.

I have a whip - just not 70 attack.

Dragon scimitar. Or even a dragon long is by far superior.

D2H spec is good more killing monsters in multicombat like dags, dust devils in chaos tunnel.

just buy a d scim, its the best xp you can get at your level

 

 

 

and as for a whip being far superior...a whip and a rune def is fastest melee xp in the game...so obviously its going to be :D

I've seen D2h's used for Slayer tasks like Kalphites, Dags, Dust Devils, etc, etc. Anything in multicombat. Seems to be pretty good if you just use the spec while you're surrounded, then switch to your primary weapon.

1 d2h hit = 2 dragon scimmy hit.

 

if u hit like 23 on d2h once, and hit a 15 and 8, that will be the same

 

(BUT), i wont always be 23 on d2h since i think it have bad accuracy (i have tried d2h), so i think dragon scimmy is way better. (same as whip, dlong(i find d long i low on accuracy too) and dds) :shame:

Sorry but half of that is just not correct. Multicombat most likely means more than two monsters, so the two hit statistics are blown out of the water. Secondly, the D2H is by far more accurate than a DDS or D Scimmy.

well...a whip is faster xp than a godsword (with a rune def) so a d scim is gonna be faster than a d2h

d2h is cool, quite accurate, and very powerful. Additionally the spec can be awesome - I laughed at the people calling the spec worthless *points at their whips*.

In pest control you can gather those monsters that explode, then do the special to kill them all and create a big bomb that kills everyone around :twss:

seriously dude...its a waste of your money...might as well save it for summoning or w/e upgrade is next for gear. i have never seen anyone with semi decent combat using one doing slayer.

 

 

 

the only time its even semi ok is at pc when monsters stack...but how often are you going to pc when its only good for void

It's fun to run around with in PC. But other than that, it's damage and spec suucks! You're better off with a whip/rune defeneder.
