Prayer EXP Vs. Summoning EXP

Recommended Posts

Just a question.

When you get lamps, and other things that can boost EXP in your chosen skill(IE: penguin hunting), which is better?

Just burying dragon bones, I hear that prayer EXP costs about 25 gp/exp. What's the approximate cost for Summoning EXP, and is the time saved from hunting charms worth more than the prayer EXP would be?

use all your boosts on slayer, its the slowest skill in the game, and youll end up raising it with 99 99 99 most likely, making it boring

A book for about level 80 in a skill would be about 1200 xp, right? So that's either about 10 monsters or about 3-4 crimsons, which is worth more to you?

Personally, I'm dumping all of my free exp into summoning until after 89 and then probably construction because I'll actually get a level every now and again from long bones.

I'd still go with the crimsons, as you can obtain 100+/hour.

Pray and summoning is easy to level if u have stuff.

Do what i did and put it on runecrafting, the most boring skill in the game

Oooh bad move. Definantly summoning though. I lost membership less than a week after it came out, but I can see why it would be hard to raise.

26,974th person to get 85 mining on September 20th, 2008

Try Ferion, it only takes a few minutes per day; you can play it while mining.

pray= just cost

summo= time and cost

so summo \'

so your saying it doesnt take time to collect the bones and ecto the bones?

He's saying you can buy the bones. And use them on the gilded altar which barely takes time.

who ectos anymore?

its called poh alter, 300k xp/h

and summo is around 20k per hour when you consider time to get charms and use

Eh, more like 40k+ at least at higher levels.

I put mine on prayer usually. I've bben told that iF your planning on training your range and melee with slayer then you should be getting 99s in slayer about the same time you are finishing up with range and the 3 melee skills. Having nowhere near 99s I am only able to pass along previously given advice. I would recommend using it on the skill you like doing the least.
