one think i really hate it when ppl go into the rants forum themselfs and then go to a rant and tell the person exactly how they are wrong. i mean seriously its a rant for guthix sake they are supposed to be angry because there veiws were gone against. why do ppl go here to tell ppl how wrong they are, it just getts the person madder and they get more ticked off. the rants forum is ment to vent not to get pissed off

People have differences of opinion, and they're perfectly entitled to share it even to the emotional distress of the OP. True, this is a forum geared towards venting but a forums very purpose is as a tool for people with different opinions to share them. All these people are doing when they disagree with a poster is helping the internet to fulfill its intelectual role. :geek:

Eh, it may be a forum to vent, but you've got to realize the difference between venting and just spewing propaganda and/or nonsense.

You are entitled to ranting. Posters are entitled to disagreeing. The Forums would be pretty boring if it was just:

Sometimes OPs give nonsensical arguments filled with the slathered gore of the English language and Greek logic because they have a one-track mind and are oblivious to anything except "OMG U R S0 RITE!!!" Other times it's just that people have a different opinion that the OP. Is that so wrong?

Solution: Vent and write what you want, then don't look at the comments. It's like ranters need to justify themselves by making sure people are agreeing with them.

Just kidding. I agree, too many people say things like that. This is a rants forum for blowing off steam, not for proving people's feelings wrong. "Hey, you can't get mad at that, it's just how things are. I bet if it was changed, it would annoy more people," is just nonsense.

I found it rather ironic, that you are ranting about other players ranting in the rants forum and then people disagreeing. As someone as mentioned it would be boring if everyone agreed.
