Anything can be perceived as offensive. And a lot of people get innocently banned or black marked for stupid things that dont actual offend anybody. Jagex's current policy encourages whiners by enabling them to report others for just about anything. Reports should be considered invalid unless there are solid, clear, and precise reasons as to why something is offensive. If somebody makes racist, sexist, or highly offensive statements: report. Otherwise, players just need to learn how to use the ignore button, and deal with it. As of now, you could get banned for calling someone else a "poop", can you see how this enables whiny idiots? Basically means the idiot who was too stupid to deal with someone calling him a poop won - jagex enabled him. Offensive reports should basically only be for SERIOUS things.

That's what you did....your assumed that i said bad words to other players. As for the bann, it was just random what i said and did: is it a crime?

 

 

 

The only reason i haven't made a good point: is cause your writing and your attitude is dumb. Which is true: look at how you look at the situation of the character i made.

As i said: i put up the rant wrongly (I was indirectly aiming for Custom Support). I also have realized that putting up word list is not necessary.

I've always wondered: If there's offensive language, than there should be Defensive Language. But I've never encountered it. If it does exist, what would it entail? Being painstakingly polite in such a manner that infuriates another?

What good would a list do? Jagex says that you can say youtube in game and it's also not censored... Yet one of my friends was recently given a 10 day ban for referring someone to a Jad video on YT.

 

 

 

Bottom line: Big Brother is watching. Always mind your mouth, whether it's in Clan Chat, Public Chat, or Private Chat. Jagex Staff has the ability to intercept private chat messages and can enter into any Clan Chat, regardless of the settings... Therefore, nothing you say in game is 100% safe, so don't say anything that could potentially get you in trouble.
