September 24, 200817 yr Went out on a recent shoot, as a suggestion from woopidoo or runemetsa, can't remember said, to sort of explore away from home. Which I did. And I got 5 cat photos 8-). All have been subject to brightness contrast, to make slightly easier on the eye, more robust colours etc.... etc. (All fairly big aswell 1200x900 sizeish) Of tunnels left over from WW2. Can be used as a texture. Changed *slightly* added a bit of my fav filter *ahem*. Tunnels again. Cat Photos. Which is my cat, lovingly referred to as Tilly. Short for Tiger-Lily. September 24, 200817 yr Getting there Shiny :) Good that you like using raw photos and aren't getting into the habit of piling filters on :) Maybe make a filtered one to make the colours nicer or the foreground stand out more maybe. When walking around, look carefully for pieces of good composition, like holes in trees and small windows. Not always making the centrepiece in the centre (ironic) like with the steps you took a photo of, maybe have the steps in the bottom right or turn you camera vertically and do a tall photo to make the steps look taller. As for the cats, cats are always photogenic and make cute photos, but try to move away from them if you are searching for more pro, photos. Yeah they are on north head, I live just below it. My camera is a higher end point and shoot, not quite bridge though. I'll probably be getting a camera sometime next year (after christmas, and b'day, there both close to each other) when I get a job as well. I'll probably be getting a Sony a200 (maybe a300)
