I figured out that my drive can't burn DVDs, so I'm going to put the files on SD cards and have my friend burn them. Thanks for the help guys, I'm just going to have to give the files to my friend every time I want some more backups :(
Or even better, you could just buy an External Lite-On DVD Burner, so that you can do it all on your own. 8-)

Here's a link to one:

Enjoy!

Personally i would do Devnulls solution or try to find a DVD-RW internal one for your laptop.

Or buy an external USB one, you can plug that into anything then.
Madam Clare, you must have not read my post and/or checked the link that I posted. You have only repeated my suggestion. ;)

I'm running low on money, and it's a lot cheaper to give the files and DVDs to my friend then to buy a $40 burner that I'll use like 10 times in my life  But thanks for the suggestion!

You know not how much you would really use a DVD burner, until such time as you really have one of your own. Keep saving $$$ for later, so that you can eventually get one. You will enjoy the ability to burn to such point that you will use it far, far more than just 10 measly times.

You know, this does not apply to everyone. I'm a good example of this. When I bought my computer, I had a pack of 25 DVDs that came with it. How many are left? Around 5. How long has it been? 2 years. ;).
