September 25, 200817 yr Many of you swear by Google and many of you call it your best friend. Did you know Google is now 10? You might not think it has been that long but, it has. It there journey of experimenting they sure have come a long way. Google sure has come along way from just being a search engine. They now have Gmail, Chrome, Maps, Image Search. You really take Google for granted most of the time. Just image the world with no search engines, especially Google. Lets hope for another 10! Google Tenth Birthday Website
September 25, 200817 yr Which makes me remember that Altavista was the biggest one 10 years ago=) What is interesting is that Yahoo is the leader by quite a big margin in asia (i remember reading an article 2 months ago). September 25, 200817 yr "Virgle"... :lol: LOL!!! I didn't even know that had happened! :P Here's to the hope that Google lasts forever, but that they never turn super-insidious... They just committed a big no-no... How? I had to whitelist a page in ABP, which I really take distaste in doing, just to get their damn timeline to work. They've got it tied too far into their "analytics" tracking and advert server! Which, if it causes anything to slip past that shouldn't, is going to get the whitelist filter removed... permanently. ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

September 25, 200817 yr Google.com was registered on 15th September 1997 which technically makes the domain 11 years old even if they're only celebrating their 10th birthday as Google. Funnily enough we're very close with google, Tip.It was registered on 26th September 1997 which makes today our 11th birthday! ;)
