fenrir321
Here's an idea: maybe you should run too so you don't lose. Granted I win 90% of all games I play by tanking in the middle, but w/e. I actually win all of my games, except for a couple once in a blue moon I also tank the middle, just the runners, they'll run and telly back to middle, then it takes forever to find them, so thats why I hate them :wall: How the heck do you win? You can't wear blk dhides, cast ancient magics, or even wear dragon armor. If you are tanking in the center, only very weak players and those who don't know about the term of running will be your victims.
llamster
I win about 95% percent of games at FoG, even though I often face players that are much higher level than I am. The reason? I run. Ironically, I find it easier to take down higher level players because they almost always tank in the middle. I have never lost to anyone over level 100, but I've lost to levels 60-80 plenty of times. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

alex_Lei1993
Thanks for the tokens and rating son. You're probably one of those people I beat miserably in FOG with over 2k charge.
Trollface
I only have actually died 1 out of my last 10 times playing FOG. Nearly everyone forfeits, or I evade them for the entire time. There was also someone who botted in the middle, and would just stand there and do nothing, unless I went into her attack range. When I walked out of her range, she ran back into the center and stopped attacking me. Well, at those people...Ty for free tokens and charges
skillerman84
Not to put the blood on your hands Mr. Fellow TIP'er so I'm going to leave it anonymous.. "ya omg I agree wit u. all runners in fog r noobz." If that's something along the lines of what you're thinking, then let me let you now know that my problem isn't with people who run in Fist of Guthix, but you. FoG runners are not noobs. It's a completely valid and viable tactic in this game. If anything, I believe that you're the noob for saying that. Why? This is a GAME with strategy involved. Why else would Jagex not separate the rounds into tiers like in BH? It is possible to win against a guy 30 or 40 levels higher than you, but this requires tactics and strategy, including running. This object of the game is to gain charges and survive. Yes, people who run are more difficult to catch and take longer to find, but this is a GAME, and they're just trying to win it. This game is not only about standing in the center taking hit after hit, where the only strategy would be to switch between prayers and armour. If that was the way the game was intended to be played, then Jagex might as well as have used a much smaller room and taken away the teleorb. This is a game that requires micro as well as macromanagement (Quick clicking abilities and planning and anticipation). People who whine and complain are to me just short-tempered, lazy, unskilled players who don't see the point of the game. All they know is how to point and click, hope they hit their max with their 2H, and throw out insults to anyone who moves out of their confined space of thinking. Yes, people run from me all the time and others don't. I just take it in stride and fire blast them regardless of what they do I'm not saying you should all start running, and I'm not saying running is the best tactic out there, but what I am saying is that there's more than one way of winning the game other than getting 99 in all combat stats and clicking between armours and prayer and I think people should learn to accept it. Let the flaming begin  EDIT:Sorry the post is kind of long. =;

Balazeal
I REALLY hate runners -.- They are SO annoying to catch, once second their in the middle, then they're in the corner, then back in the middle. UGH I hate this! I have an easy solution: Play FOG in F2P worlds. If you can't use bind, train it up to 20. When actually playing FOG, don't use armor, use monk robes. If you pack lightly, and pay attention to how they seem to move about, you'll catch 'em. 100% F2P99 Defense, Tuesday February 10th 200999 Attack, Tuesday May 26th 200962,189th to get it
The_Maddest
I tank at the centre every game and get around 1200-1300 charges and I use around half of the timer of the game. If I ran and hid, I would get 1700+ charges but I would use the full timer of the game. I win in both cases, so I always tank. My opponent runs and hides but I keep them away from the centre. They get 800-900 charges. They lose. Tanking gives faster, better, less aggravating games. It's FTW.
thefightingmime
Thanks for the pointless replies everyone Thanks for the pointless rant. What do you do when you're being attacked - you just stand there or something? apperantly... how many runescapers does it take to change a lightbulb? 20,0001 to change the lightbulb and the rest to complain about how the first one was better There are lots of bad people in the world, but they're like slinkies; you can have so much fun pushing them down two flights of stairs... My previous acount, 'WeirdAl_fan' was unable to be recovered after the crash...
