October 1, 200817 yr It's been a while since I've seen it, but I think The Devil's Rejects was pretty gory. It's kinda more of action/horror, but it didn't get a lot of press, so it may be one you haven't seen. I've heard House of 1,000 corpses is very gory, but I haven't seen it. Both are by Rob Zombie. For me, anything not too mainstream, maybe a comedy?

It's a little more than mindless action but the action is great. Hmm, a comedy could be good for me too. Can be anything from a dry comedy like Wes Anderson's movies to a stupid-funny movie like the Jackass movies. Bonus if it is Sci-Fi oriented.

October 3, 200817 yr Monty Python and the meaning of life. I need an action movie...something along the lines of the transporter... Bank Job was really good, as well as The Italian Job. I only saw The Transporter once, so I can't really remember what it was like, but both of those are great heist/action movies. (They both have Statham in them, too, he's one of my favorite actors :P) Edit: If you're into heist movies, Bandits is definitely in my top ten. It's a great movie, although some scenes are a little slow, it has an amazing ending. Definitely worth watching. You might have already seen it, but Space Balls.
