Anyway, at a full on rave you would probably ned ecstasy to keep going all night, that or a [bleep] load of red bull.

uk rave scene is booming, [bleep] clubs they shut early and are cramped plus a rip and pretty mainstreamish tunes AND they cain off power plus you get proper sweaty. oh and [bleep] the police for what they do to you at raves..(pepper sprayy)

lol trust tho, you wanna rave go to glade or waveform. weekend long festival pretty intensely ravey, drum n bass, breakcore, breaks whatev pplus loadsa decent bands and chill music. any festivals good really and for all y'all who don't like dancing then you havnt tried it properlly tbh lol, try going to a festival and give dancing a fair try.

Depends how it's taken. I'm not gonna harp on about how "DRUGS ARE EVIL!!!" because I don't believe in that, but that statement is just gross.

 

 

 

You'd be pretty stupid to argue that taking Es every weekend is safer than someone who drinks the equivalent of one or two pints in the same timescale.

 

 

 

Plus, I can see a drink of alcohol being served and I can see exactly what's going in it. If something dodgy's going on, I can have someone check it out for me. No chance of that with dealers. With alcohol, because you get drunk over a number of drinks, you can gain a more accurate picture of where to stop, while with drugs, it's often all in one shot, and you can't control whether too much is going in.

 

 

 

Taking them both at the same time is definitely not the epitome of safe either, which I suspect is something a lot of people would do in a bar, unless it's one of the non-alcoholic ones (re: the real raves, not the fake ones where everyone goes to get wasted on alcohol).

i went to the one in Columbus, Ohio a few years back. I really enjoyed it but it got raided by cops :mrgreen:

you guys give raves a bad name. people are scared to go to raves and associated with "those kind of people" because of all the posers that go there to roll and get high. then eventually rumors get to the point where people believe that if you go to a rave people will intentionally [puncture] you with an aids-infected needle.

Unfortunately you always get losers who ruin it for everyone else, But I consider drug users to be a minor problem since security often throw them (literally) out the door.

I've known plenty of X users and they never developed any kind of long term health problems, went mad, etc... However, I know a lot of people who got into trouble because of alcohol, crashed their car, started hitting people, so on..

Alcohol can be [bleep]ed with anything, you really can't be sure unless you personally bought the bottle... A dealer's livelihood on the other hand depends on being trustworthy, if his product isn't the best available or someone gets even as much as a nosebleed from his pills, nobody will buy it, he will get into trouble with suppliers or possibly even killed.

The amount of random s**t (namely speed .. you can see it in them) in pills - especially where i am - makes them not as safe as alcohol..

Effects of ecstacy are also dependent on the physical characteristics of the person using them. Without going too much in-depth (and tip.it isn't really a place to discuss drugs, the topic was about raves, understandable why it drifted though), weight, addictive personality, mental fortitude, determine how strongly you get addicted/how strongly it affects you or if it makes you hallucinate/alter your sense of reality at all.

 

 

 

Without a doubt alcohol is a safer party substance than x pills, still as recreational drugs, they both cause problems after usage, strong % alcohol also causes liver dysfunctions and impairs your driving ability if you're going home from a party, it's not a saintly alternative to drugs. The best option is staying away from both whenever possible, there's plenty of alternative ways to have fun even at a rave
