Um I'll be doing Into the World, Image, and The Simple Gift. Image is probably the worst essay out of my three.

only got maths left on thursday so hurrah! only problem is its my 18th on the maths test meaning i have to wake up early for it. as for note burning I've already begun the process for this weekend's bon-fire. >:3

 

 

 

 

 

i actully didnt use any ORM's for the "Simple Gift" even though it asked for 2. oh well. du'n need a HSC for what im doing so its not a major priority, plus i do FAR much better when I select the Materials and not some "out-of-date" information the DOE dug up from the 1998 Vault. -.-

How'd you find the test? I think it was pretty good. But I better not speak too soon. I can never accurately judge my performance in a maths exam.

I found the maths exam pretty easy, except for the very last question. What did everyone else get for it? I just wrote it was 2 since the cross section was an ellipse, but I have a feeling that's wrong :lol:

I found the test really easy on the whole. Finished with about 30 minutes to spare, and spent the reast of the time checking my answers. I wasn't sure about the last question either though. I said if "a" was increased by 2, "b" would have to go down by 8. I'm not really sure though.

 

 

 

EDIT: Yeah, looks like it was 8.

I actually ran out of time, didn't get to fully complete the last question. =[

 

That always happens for me in maths. I find math exams too relaxing and I just cruise through them, then [cabbage] myself when I have a whole question to do when we are told there's 10 minutes left.

Damn, how did you get 8? I had no idea how to do that question (probably because I got (i) wrong as well).

A = (h/3 x (4 x a + B)) x 2

 

When h = 20, a = 7, b = 17, you get 600.

 

When h = 20, a = 9, b = 9, you also get 600.

 

I'm sure there was an easier way to figure it out, but I didn't get that far.

Ow, almost forgot! There was another bomb scare, this time 20 minutes in to the Bio exam.

 

 

 

Lucky the school had prepared for this. They brought the dog squad in and checked the hall for bombs earlier this morning, so when the bomb scare occurred, we were immune from the evacuation.

If you guys don't mind saying, what schools do you go to? We have never even had anything close to a bomb scare (I go to Freshwater btw). I can't even imagine having multiple bomb scares when the most severe thing we've ever had is a rehearsed fire drill :lol:

I go to Menai High.

 

 

 

We get our fair share of trouble because it's the local public school, which is located close to a housing commission area :lol:

 

 

 

But regardless of that it's a great school, and meeting people from all economic levels is a great thing. It really saves you when your about to get jumped by a group of lads, then one of them realizes they know you from school, so they leave you alone. :D

But yeah, as for bomb scares, we haven't gotten them in years. We have a lot of drills though. Lots.

Just had my Music 1 exam. I think I did pretty well. I didn't do too great with the Duration/Prokofiev question, but I was pretty solid with the rest.

 

 

 

How did anyone else go with Adv. Maths and/or Music?

That question was probably my weakest too. But hopefully my [cabbage] was enough to get the marks i need. I'm hoping for about 24/30, to ensure at least a band 5 :D

Ancient History on Friday, Physics on Tuesday, Chemistry on Thursday. I did 12 units though, and even if I study really hard, Chemistry won't end up counting, so I don't intend on studying for it. I'm contemplating just writing "Jesus" for every answer, then walking out after an hour. :)

Aaaand I am done! Had PE today, and it's finally over. Now I just have to wait until December the 13th. :)

I have one exam left--Chemistry tomorrow. But it's not going to count, so I haven't done any study, and I don't plan on doing any. In my mind, my exams finished yesterday with Physics.

 

I am so unbelievably excited about Schoolies though. :)

I will, thankfully, not have to do my HSC, as I am not doing years 11 and 12 and just going on to Tafe next year. The best part about this as I can get the same qualifications in 2 years less, as I will be able to get Cert. IV in Programming when others in my year will have finished year 12. So while my friend will be doing his 1st year of Uni I'll be doing my Diploma in Software Design and Development. :lol:
