October 1, 200817 yr Willow long(u)'s is a really dumb idea... Alch yew longbows if you make them yourself, Green dragonhide items, Summoning pouches made by yourself, Rune daggers,med helms, scims, etc... Just don't alch those Willow longs anymore, its a huge waste of money.

Yes but you are forgetting that the cost of the shards and the seconds actually adds up and actually makes you lose money. And besides if you can back 70% of the shards back from Bogrog and in some cases actually sell your pouches if they are in demand, you are actually losing money. Your best bet for alching is yew longs. You will lose about 60-70gp per alch but atleast they are easily attainable unlike some of the other items.

Ive tried Air battlestaves got 100 in an hour and gave up.
