Honestly, don't look too much into it. It's 1 am, I'm bored and my graphic Design teacher offered us extra credit if we made a header for his "Angel" page. (It's just where our grades and such are at).

 

 

 

 

 

 

About 10 - 15 minutes worth of just messing around with stocks, clipping paths and whatever else.

It's for the graphic design site, and it's college so no one cares anyways.

It does look a bit... slapdash.

 

 

 

The colour scheme is nice, though. I think the different opacitys kind of mess it up a bit.

It looks quite nice, but it also looks rushed at the same time... But like you said, it is college, it won't be as critical as they would be on the Internet.

I think I said before that the text should be the focal. But otherwise, it's very well done.

Pretty much agreed. I love the background and the colors, but the spatters are just bit too much.

The typography could do with a bit of work. The placement looks fine, it's just a bit small and plain. Avoid making it focal, though.

I probably could chop the bottom off a little bit. Not really sure on size restrictions myself, this was mostly just done as a bit of a warmup / easy extra credit.

 

 

 

And I agree the typography sucks. :P

I don't like it. The different opacities look silly and brushwork could of been applied much better, though you've placed the font well and it compliments the bg & brightens it up. But overall, I say nay.

Ah, I use Angel aswell for my classes. I hate it :P

 

 

 

 

 

I don't love it though. At fist glance, it's nice, but upon further examination, it just doesn't come together well. The brushes are a bit random, and the two scenery's clash.
