Avansies- Tank or Pray?

Featured Replies

To pray or not too pray. Don't give me a one word answer. Tell me why one is better than another. Consider profit, efficency, risk, etc. I really have no bias. I pray but have been looking into tanking with much curiosity. Debate away.

i prefer praying for several reasons.

1) i like to afk <3:

2) you can attack multiples with emmy(e) bolts and poison, ultimately increasing your profit

and yeah :)

Personally I believe the prayer method is preferable.

It's all personal preference; of course you have to try the two before deciding which is for you, I wouldn't just ask on here, as you'll get a very biased view.

However, the two seem to be pretty close regarding profit, after repairing armour etc.

Anyway, good luck! ;)

It depend of armour and def lvl.

Since I have 80 def, and a extremy high ranged defense, I rarely if ever get hit. All of it was tanked through with my spinner. I rarely needed any food, and the food I needed was from bones to peaches. Bones to peaches is very important. With a bunyip, I probably could have done without.

Obviously, if you are lower level and do nto have this gear, you must pray it or you will take too much damage

Tanking. It let's be stay there much longer if I want, and is far, far cheaper. It's the only way to go, really.

Well, most people tank with barrows so you do have to pay for the degrades.

vettro.png

Well, with barrows, its 500k/15 hours. So that means roughly 14 hours profit.

With P pots, its about 150k-200k a trip. So thats around 6-9 trips worth of profit.

On my members account I like tanking. It's not as expensive as prayer, and my trips last a good while longer. It's all a matter of personal preference though.

In a 2-3.5 hour trip I had around 1.1 million in drops. Spent around 100-200k on supps praying. I prefer pray, but may give tanking a try later.

Did you get a longer trip than me because your prayer is higher than mine? It's 55. My range is higher though.

The way i do it is wearing best range gear and kill them. That means no melee defensive actually.

This way i get most EXP possible in range.

It's best way to do it like this, in other words: "Tanking".

Praying is only good if you got low defense and it's not really much better than Tanking.

So i find tanking the best. I know alot players use defensive armor, which affects range exp but i don't and i still manage well.

Tanking cause you can stay for like 15hours if your barrows is brand new. Ppots can be gone quickly and tanking lasts longer.

Drops: 8whips, 28dboots, 1hand cannon, 2 dmeds 3dskirts 2 dbows

99s(in order): Attack Constitution Defence

I prefer to pray because i only hav 45 def -.-

So i only last nearly 2-3 hours long per trip

If i had higher def, i would rather tank it because you would last a lot longer, which means you profit more...
