October 7, 200817 yr If Im correct, you must have a certain amount of qp for dragon slayer, but if I did vampire slayer which is probably needed to start Dragon slayer, that would mess up my pure. Im going to do D slayer with a crossbow on f2p, but do I need to do vampire slayer?
October 7, 200817 yr No, it's not required. However you do need 33 quest points, and it IS possible without that quest. But keep in mind that dragon slayer gives 18,650 Strength and 18,650 Defence xp. ~ Captainkidd
October 8, 200817 yr k lets talk pures. wat exactly do u want ur pure to be. state the combat level u hope to pk in and ur levels u predicted or calced. this can help alot because it will help us to determine whether ur pure will be successful or not. second why do u want to do dslayer? for the dhide body is the only reason i can find. then u would get 40 def which really wouldnt make it a pure anymore. im kind of confused on wat u r trying to achieve. :?

October 10, 200817 yr getting 30 str isnt gonna mess up ur "pure" its the defence part ur making a range "tanker" btw str doesnt do anything if it isnt high enuf 1100 total achieved 03/02/09 880thousandth to reach it :P1200 total achieved 29/09/11 1.23millionth to reach it :P

October 11, 200817 yr From reading these posts, its evident some of those who've tried to answer are unfamiliar with what pures are. From what I understand, you are making a 40 defence 'rune pure' which ranges - and yes Yomyth - that is a very popular and effective type of pure. And to answer your question, no, strength will not affect your pure as long as your ranged is above a certain level. 99 Ranged F2P achieved 21 November (2961st)
October 11, 200817 yr ok im also makeing a pker for the low level crater in bounty hunter what lvl does your range have to be for the 18,000 str exp to not affect your cb lvl?
October 11, 200817 yr Author still curious on different types of pures, such as tanker, as im 20 range and 10 def currently with about 15 hp. And im level 16.
