Was just wondering what is the best slayer master to use for my level. I'm using Chaeldar at the moment but I think the exp is really bad. Should I take a step up to Sumona?

 

 

 

My skills are:

 

 

 

Combat 94

 

 

 

Attack 71

 

Strength 70

 

Defence 73

 

Prayer 60

 

Mage 70

 

Range 53

 

Summoning 41

 

Slayer 57

 

 

 

I mainly slay to make money and raise my combat stats, so I'd like replies that think about prayer potions and profit etc.

sumona (sp?) is a good master, decent tasks and money. i'd say take the step up. :thumbup:

I like to Alternate between Her and S... To mix things up S.. really does give better task that can reward u more often but also hands u some crappy ones as well. Either mix it up between the two to avoid boredness Or step up to the plate to s... It can offer u greater rewards if your ready

90% (made up statistic alert :^o) is obsessed with Slayer so you're going to get fast replies ;).

 

 

 

On topic: Summona is a great master, easier to get to as well when you move your house to Pollivneach, take the :thumbup: up.

But they aren't that hard. Skipping tasks > mask, by far. The mask barely helps, tbh.

My theory kinda falls apart since he hasnt even done the quest for points Yea slayer mask is [cabbage] better to waste points on a slayer ring or runes

I'm saying that skipping/blocking is better, not that the Helmet sucks.

If you want XP, highest you can. If you want points, Sumona for normal and Duradel for 10- and 50-task bonuses. If you want both... Well... I'd say Duradel. You could do Sumona though.

I've heard good things about sumona, but she never (ever) gives me good tasks. An example of 3 tasks in a row I did with her is:

 

banshees, very annoying

 

cave crawlers :cry:

 

more banshees

 

and that's practically all sumona ever gives me. I say stick to chaeldar until you can skip over to what's his face (the lvl 100 combat one), but maybe you have better luck than me.

cave crawlers and banshess are fast slayer points though.

 

 

 

BUt do duradel when you can with blocked steels and some otherstuff.

 

 

 

never use chaeldar most of his tasks are junky, sumona gives mostly ok tasks, and her bad tasks are fast slayer points.

 

 

 

Though red/blue dragons are just aweful

I used the one in the lost city till 85. Thats my recomendation

Use Sumona.

 

 

 

She gives a lot of decent tasks in decent amounts to get some serious XP.

 

 

 

As for the Smoking Kills rewards. Make sure you "power train" using the Canafis master for 9 tasks then Sumona for every 10th to maximise points. My advice in spending the points at your level would be Rings>Helm>Bolts/Arrows. Reason being the rings will teleport you to Sumona so it saves having to move your house, and you can leave it it Yanille. The helm is very useful as it adds a few defense to the black mask as well as saving you space in the bank and inven (If you had Abby Demons for example you'd have to carry a nosepeg to get past Spectres). The bolts/arrows are a waste of points but I wouldn't put it past Jagex to have a use for this at some point so I bought the ability. Make sure you always leave 100 points "in the bank" just in case you need to ban/skip.

 

 

 

Never ever use the points towards XP. Total waste of time. Buy the slayer dart spells instead and cash in for free GP.
