October 24, 200817 yr The hooded figure is definitely a follower of Zaros ('A purple light bled into the barrows'). Something that just struck me... The Mahjarrat are going north... What's north? The Corporeal Beast... Maybe the Zamorak followers are trying to harness its power, and the Zarosians are attempting to stop them, or vice-versa? Hazeel said he was going north to Ice Mountain to meet the other Mahjarrat. And what did we just uncover at Ice Mountain?
October 24, 200817 yr wow I only talked to him to hear that stinking knock knock joke but that is strange. Do you think Jennica and the brothers of the barrows have some relation as well? (you can never talk to them and people only visit to steal their stuff  )
October 24, 200817 yr There is no way to actually prove it, since drops are luck based, and if you do get more drops while wearing it, who's to say that wasn't just luck? True, while you can't fully determine whether the ring has an effect on barrows drops, you could use statistical hypothesis testing methods to see if the differences are significant. October 24, 200817 yr Hmm, another thing I just remembered: Mahjarrat have the power to stop someone from aging, but at the cost of making them (the victim/receiver) nearly entirely immobile. Enakhra did this to Pentyn (a knight from Avarrocka), and Akthanakos, torturing and starving them for hundreds of years! This could have been done to the Strange Old Man too, and he's gone mad from the torture. That doesn't explain why he can still move though... :-k A spell to controll his body is plausible, as Enakhra did something similar to Akthanakos, transforming him into a guard who attacks intruders. Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).
