Runescape Member Prices

Featured Replies

Are they going to continue to go up as they add new content?

It went up due to the Value of the dollar falling (and rising prices).

It will probably go up, then next year probably go down towards the end of the year as I personally think RS will start to grind to a loss of members.
^^ The above post is pure opinion and speculation and not based on any facts at all.

It took about five years for there to be a price increase, I doubt there'll be another until the next decade.

All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it

It won't go up because of content. The reason it increased is because of the current financial crisis.

The price increases were before the financial crisis hit. And I doubt it's a good strategy to increase prices in a crisis where people are inclined to keep the money in their pockets. By the way, Jagex is not on the stock market, so the effects will probably be not as hard on Jagex compared to other companies.

I think it was simple inflation. Prices never increased before. With the release of RS HD, it was a good timing.
