Double Checking my setup.

I know you tip.it users are all pro jad owners, so i thought i'd double check my setup with you guys to see if i can last in the caves long enough to be awarded with the ultimate token of manhood...fire cape:

I really cant think of a better setup than that. Maybe an archers ring and zammy book if you have them, and possibly ranger boots. That is the only way to improve it but other than that you are good to go. I wouldnt even bother with the above items mentioned above. Go with the one you have.

Yea, those items you mentioned (zammy book, ranger boots etc...) are all luxuries i wish i could use, but unfortunately im on tight budget :x so im good to go, thats good :

Yeah, looks good, buy you don't really need crystal bow. If I were you, I'd try it with this set up, but you'll probably end up with a bunch of extra brews or restores. If you do, in your next attempt try bringing like 4-5 manta rays, for easy healing at Jad. That was my main problem, I freaked out at jad, and had a hard time healing with brews.

 

 

 

But really everything is good, as long as you don't mess up you'll easily do it.

Well I have never used it personally but the long range of a crystal bow could be useful if the healers are a little far and to avoid running into Jad's meelee attack when you attack them. I would take it because I simply did not use enough restores and brews that I took on my trip to Jad. In fact on the trip that i got my cape I must have used up like 2 brews. I guess the OP could think about using purple sweets, I have never used them but I have heard they are useful and only take up one spot. They are quite expensive though, so dont bother if you dont have the money.

I did it at lower stats, but reasonably better equipment. But then again, I finished with about 9 super restores left, so you'll be fine. Just don't mess up. :

 

 

 

Oh, and you really won't need the crystal bow. I can't imagine a scenario where you can't move up close to Jad, use longrange and distract the healers. It's a better idea to be 2-3 squares away from him anyway, it makes seeing his attacks a little easier.

 

 

 

Oh, and in my humble opinion, any skillcape is tougher to get than a firecape.
